Dear citizens of eNL,

Believe it or not but I am actually writing an article about congress elections to come 🙂.

Why am I writing this?
Well, things are changing. For years, actually ever since I play this stupid game, eNL has been stuck in a game played by people mainly outside the game itself. And it’s fine if you play a game of your own, yet it ain’t if you harm a community doing so. When I started this game I did play it to the full, also doing politics and playing the forum game. I was involved in congress almost 25 terms. Well actually only 14, but due to the game being played outside the real game it was almost 25 as we had an "official" congress even if we did not have a real one in-game due to being fully occupied…

Also I’ve been involved heavily in Government business during very rough times. Rough times as we had a constantly declining and very low income and were fully occupied by a hostile force all the time. I’ve been MoF of NL 20 times during that period. Most of you however will not know this as I am not involved in politics for over 4 years now nor have I visited the bloody forum of NL as it only gives me a headache.

So the reason why I write this is the fact I think finally things are starting to change for the better. Things that mean the game will be played more where it belongs which is in the game itself. For that we need to change laws that are written outside the game itself on that same forum. As it will be hard to make it happen due to mainly one party and some other players, congress needs all the support it can get. So I decided to jump in after several decades to support the good cause!


What to do?
There has been an article published by someone not really sure about who he really is that states VN does not know what it wants but rest asured our candidates know what they want. Things need to change! Things need to come back to the game itself and people need to be united again and play and fight for a common cause. Not be devided between people who play the game itself and people who try to block that by any means possible using outdated rules that are forced upon us outside the game itself! After all we are named "Verenigd Nederland" and United in this game we should be. Not divided by some external force!
