Last time in «A Talk With» we interviewed some of our oldest citizens, Generalen. This time we do have A Talk With some of our newest citizens, BadBlackBird, which has already make himself visible in positive ways, by editing his own newspaper BBB Magazine and also been Teknokratene`s candidate to the CP position last month.



Northern Light (NL): First of all: Your name and avatar sounds so dark and mysterious, why a Bad Black Bird?


BBB: Honestly, when I was supposed to choose a name, I noticed the Black Bird sign on some product. In that moment it seemed interesting to me. To make it look more serious I added adjective Bad. 🙂 And that’s it. There isn’t any mystery about this name. The look of avatar follows the name.





NL: So who is BadBlackBird in Real Life when not playing eRepublik?

BBB: I'm just an ordinary guy who goes through life and trying to make it as easy as possible.




NL: You are one of our newest and active members, but I do understand you have a lot of eRep-experiences before being an eNorwegian?

BBB: Exactly. I started playing for Serbia, which is normal of course. In that period (2010) and later, Serbia was the strongest force in eRep. We were incredibly organized. There were more than twenty MU. Each with over fifty soldiers, minimum. There was an elite unit with the strongest Serbian soldiers. They were activated when it was necessary to reverse any battle in our favor. It was good time. We had organized real-life gatherings. Activity was at a high level and it was worth it.





NL: You are from Serbia you said. It`s a Superpower in eRep context, why did you choose little tiny eNorway as your new eHome?

BBB: The game began to lose it's meaning in time. Politics began to have a big impact. Everyone wanted power and they didn't choose a way to get it. That eventually led me away from the game. When I decided to play again, one of the conditions was to find quiet country and with less active players and I'm here.





NL: Whats your impression of eNorway so far, could you describe something about the differences compared to eSerbia (except of the size ofc)

BBB: I like the fact that a small group of active players decides on the future of their country. Serbian people often say ”The deal builds a house”. That's what I like here.

NL: You have already been representing Teknokratene in last month CP-election, it was refreshing to see two new faces as candidates this time. How can we make the eNorwegian political life more vital in your opinion?

BBB: I didn’t have a deal with politics before. I am still trying to understand the principles of politics in eRep. It's difficult to understand different opinions in one nation. Good thing is to have more candidates at the elections. The older and more experienced players are there to help us. We have a wish and ideas will come.



NL: Will we see you as CP candidate again in future elections?

BBB: Of course 🙂

NL: You also do some business I`ve rekognized, any goals in this item in your eRep play?

BBB: I'm still considering. There are some ideas… For my own needs. Nothing seriously.




NL: And any military goals?

BBB: For now, it's in my interest to increase my strength. I'm not active in battles these days.

NL: A personal question between us editors, how do you do your exciting lay-outs in your excellent magazine?

BBB: I know a few tricks in Photoshop 🙂



NL: What`s your last read book?

BBB: Whisperer by Donato Carrisi.






NL: Last question, but not least: It`s summer (at least some other places) Whats your ultimate most memorable summer hit, and why did it became so?

BBB: David Guetta ft. Sia – Titanium. Because it’s always on my radio when I driving car and it sounds interesting.
