Go buy a House now!
Raw Ability
Hello again following my article regarding the "Basic Income" where every British citizen is paid a weekly wage direct from the government tax income. It would appear that this is too difficult to implement with the current game platform available to us. I am disappointed but valued all of your feedback.
So I thought I would stick to something more concrete this time and help everyone make a little bit extra money based on current market conditions.
Quality 1 Houses
With the new Residence update we can all now see who has houses and who doesn't. I found it alarming just how many people didn't own a Q1 house at all.
Currently a Q1 house will cost you £1190.
The Q1 house like all the higher quality houses will give you 1 overtime point per hour. 168 in total this last 7 days and at the end of the life of the house you will have gained 168 overtime points.
Currently the average job pays £200 looking at today's list. 1 guy is even offering £215.
So having spent £1190 on your house and having gained lots of energy from it you want to see a return on your money right? 168 overtime points means you can work 7x extra and at a rate £200 that is £1400. A profit of £200.
So if you go buy a Q1 house today, you get tonnes of energy every hour and you MAKE £200 profit. If you are lucky enough to find a job that pays more money that equates to even more profit for your bank account. For example I am being paid £215 a day/overtime so I make £1505 from the overtime points. A profit of £315 a week.
What are you waiting for? Go buy that Q1 house now you would be silly not to. I hope this helps anyone who currently doesn't own a house.
Comments
For a lot of older players this doesn't always work, for example I work for a friend for 0.1 GBP and he works for me for 0.1 GBP, it is only profitable to work overtime if we both work overtime
So you are avoiding tax. I suppose you are producing for each but not really helping the country. I suppose this article is aimed more for those with a genuine wage.
I wasn't aware of working like that. I don't own a company that produces an end product so I am not in a position really to do this. Thanks for replying Chemical 🙂
In that case working the overtime helps you quite a lot and is a very good idea
Tax Dodgers they could at least do it for 5.00 some countries stop that sort of shenanigans .
I would suggest that its more tax efficiency rather than avoidance/dodging, I pay all of the tax required on my salary
Tax avoidance would be the people who sell tanks and the likes via the friends feed to not pay the VAT due.
I would also suggest buying a house. 🙂
Also now houses gain an extra 20% use if you are a resident so houses now last an extra 1.5 days roughly so you can add another days wage to your calculations.
"The houses of a resident citizen will not have the option to be paused." - But when you've used your juice, and you log in more than once a day, you're burning house energy holding capacity for nothing. Houses are good and this implementation is one of the better examples of how to do well with them; However I don't think the new residence system is, maybe I'm missing something?
You can pause the house for when it suits you.
You can pause houses, you lose a little time as the time remaining is rounded down to either the nearest hour or 5 hour period,
I used to only activate my houses on a Monday night to give be the best start when the fresh week began tuesday morning
