[CP] WORDS

Day 3,287, 01:11 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by 10 Downing Street

Ahoy thar!

Firstly I'd like to apologise for taking so long to publish my first official article. I've been a prima donna recently. Living a pitiful life, shuffling around like I'm about to keel over, limply reaching out to people saying “Come closer my child, let me feel your face”...seriously though I've had quite a severe chest infection.

Me not milking it

I haven't given the eUK the attention it deserves recently and the nation has gone unfulfilled. You are not alone. I've been that poorly I hadn't knocked boots with the missus in over a week, just the throught of such physical exertion brought on an almighty coughing fit.
I'm just about back to normal after combating this plus my sanity with a combination of whiskey and cough medicine...eventually all eUK CPs partake of these tonics in vast quantities.

There is another reason too...I didn't really have much to write about! Had I have wrote an article last week I'd probably be contradicting myself on a few points today. Alliance negotiations have been the primary focus and thus far the term has been about putting the feelers out there, seeing what we can get and hearing people out.

These things take time and the longer we remained on the fence the further away our ambitions of being a useful player in the eWorld seemed. Last term we started climbing down from the fence and hopefully by continuing on from the hard work of the previous government we will have two feet planted on the ground before too long.

Allies, Alliances, MPPs...

As stated before there will be a price to pay for coming off the fence as we can't have our cake and eat it. Most notably we decided to, at the very least delay, renewing our Ukranian MPP toward the beginning of the term, this isn't through any ill feeling or falling out, but merely – as their CP duly noted – that right now our countries seem to be heading down different paths.

Though we no longer have an MPP with the Ukraine we have added Lithuania, Cuba and France to our stack recently, renewed with Spain, Germany, Belarus and Bulgaria and Ireland have come back into the fray since the Anglo-Russian war last month.

Congress
Congress has been congressing and they're going to have a fun old time soon having to make decisions that will greatly influence our future...so yeah if anything goes tits up it wasn't just me guv'nor!

There have been a few tax proposals put up without prior warning or discussion. A couple of them have warranted serious consideration but without people explaining the logic behind it then they can't expect to gain much support.

To try and rectify this a donation law was put up which was to be a symbolic vote as to whether we should reintroduce the 'Speaker' role and if Addaway should fill it...it didn't pass. However as a few people pointed out, it's hard to assess the outcome as some congressmen will just see a donation law and vote on it as such.

So as such I would like to announce a new member to the team – Addaway. He will be the government's Chief Congressional Liaison Officer for Benefit of Glorious eUK.

He will perform the duties of the Speaker but isn't actually the Speaker...nor is this government interference...no Sir.

His main role will be to set up the mails for the next congress and then set up a proper vote as to whether there should be a leader of congress/speaker.

War
We're going to Airstrike North Korea because Prince Harry says so.

HELP! HELP!
Apathy reigns supreme atm but if there is anyone still alive out there who is up for helping out then gimme a shout.

Right there are some words

Hugs n kisses
