This will not be a normal CP news paper, however just a brief update of recent events.



Hungarian Air Strike Proposal

Like many of you, I woke up this morning to see an alert notification informing me of a Air Strike law proposal by Hungary. While this is still early days, your government has reached out to them to find out what is going on.

We have seen in the past, many different countries, including our own, proposal laws that have not been agreed upon (rogue laws) and also seen mistaken laws proposed. While your government is reaching out to the Hungarian government, we want you to know that it has been noted.

As you can see from the above screenshot, this law has not had many votes for either side. So for now, save your EBs, enjoy your cold beers and stand by for further updates.



MPPs



The eAustralian and eHungarian governments have 3 common MPPs. These countries include Japan (NEBULA), Iran (Asteria) and USA (Pacfica, which is also whom Hungary is apart of). Even in the past, eAustralia and eHungary have had a MPP together.

Both of our governments have always been on the pro-Asteria/pro-Pacifica side of the alliance sphere. Your government has been reaching out to our MPP partners to inform them of this law, while expressing that is has yet to be voted in, just giving them a heads up.



Combat Orders

Your government has asked the congress to think about releasing funds for Combat Orders. While we are hoping to have this Air Strike threat dealt with diplomatically, we are ensuring that proper preparations are being put in place incase it goes ahead.

This includes releasing government funds mixed with private donations to set up CO's if required. How ever, we want to Stress to the Australian public, that we will continue to strive for a diplomatic resolution with our past friends eHungary.
