[Parliament] 7th-8th June Session

Day 3,122, 04:54 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Speaker of the House

Afternoon lads o/,

Congrats to Voodoo and Rob on their respective elections, Org access should be given soon. The results for the Deputy Speakership were:-

Rob - 9
Michael - 7
Abstain - 5
Frix - 4

Dougal has also continued his tradition of voting via PM. When asked why he didn't vote here on the comments like everyone else he replied 'common sense' x_X. I will remind him for the final time to either vote in public on public issues or not at all

We also have the matter of Voodoo's budget for this term. I have dropped Huey a note authorising the release of emergency funds should he need it until we've finished voting on VM's proposal.

JUNE BUDGET
Projected tax income - £420,000
[Based on full core regions, 4% work tax and current production bonuses]

Projected expenditure - £360,000
[MPPs x 15; MoHA - £60,000; MoD - £150,000]

Notes
MoD surplus from last month will remain in MoD, meaning that their total budget for the month, if required, will be approx £320k

Income is based on full regions and typical tax income. The results of the Resource War may have a significant effect on tax income as companies move, tax incomes change etc.

While the results of this are unpredictable, they're likely to result in a lower than usual tax income. That's why I've [Voodoo] deliberately left a £60k surplus in this budget.

"Crayons, booze and ********* for MoHA" = a prize budget for a significant push in citizen engagement by MoHA/MoENT/MoED. Just in case that needed explaining 😉
