Hi everyone, I'll keep it short...

So just elect a CP with a capable team and let them run the country together with the Dictator, use the module, it is a great way to exclude Congress. And the rest of the people, just do what you have to do - work, train and fight o7

Why does a dictator need a CP?

If people insist on a dictator then let him do the job or else restore full democracy

I'm not a fan of the dictatorship module, or precisely its current form, but if we bring back democracy, some group will exploit the situation for a dictatorship war, now they firstly need to do a liberation war and that is not as bad as the first option. So we need just as a blocker dictator and leave the government to do their things and ask the dictator to press the buttons when needed, without Congressional interference.

The dictator module is fine as it is, the reason that congress and the CP are so inactive is that they are irrelevant. Play the game as is instead of hiding away because your mates will no longer be in control.

I don't understand your last sentence if it was addressed to me. I don't remember when was the last time that someone I voted for was in power and my mates are mainly in countries that are interested in conquering the eUK 😃
All in all my problem was with Congress and all the meta laws, constitutions and whatever non game mechanics unimportant things, as long as that is excluded, will there be a democracy, CP+Dictator or only Dictator, I don't care, as long as they do a good job.
