To Buy or Not To Buy Blitzkrieg/Power Pack

I started to buy Blitzkrieg Pack 6 months ago in order to make an experiment:
Can you recover the money invested?
2 months ago I would say YES. Now? I am not so sure.

The first 4 months were very dynamic (filled with different events) and I computed a positive balance. For each of the first 3 I made an article (see the links below) but the balance did not include the consumption of food and weapons. For the 4th month the balance was very positive: +376 Gold but included a big amount of gold (264) from the mission with the Headless Horseman (?). Again the balance does not include the consumption of food (~6300CC) and weapons (~14800CC). This could have been counted around 70Gold.

Then came the 5th month. As a small parenthesis, soon in the experiment, I established as a main objective "obtaining the Top 100 medal". Until achieving it (half of the 5th month) I fought only with Q7 and most of the time with 50% or even with 100% damage boosters (collected during months of playing). Once I've obtained the medal I ceased fighting with Q7 (also due to doubling the price of the Q7 weapon) and continued fighting with Q6 and soon after that with Q5. If I compare the amount of gold recovered in the first half (before medal) compared with second half the income is very different: 328 vs 63 gold.
The final balance was still positive: 12 Gold.

On the 6th month I've continued to fight with Q5 and my main income was FF medals and TP medals. The CO income was no very big and I could only get 2 BH medals (fighting only with Q5!), last one with around 40Mil. I can admit I did not chase them, as I did not do it in the past either but with Q7 they came easier. After almost one month I collected almost 80k CC which is far away from acquiring another pair of BP/PP (around 160k CC). Not mentioning that I've downgraded down the way a Q5 factory to Q4. So the balance is even worse.

Therefore I would buy only a PP this month to achieve my next target: Level 201. Anyway I cannot afford both and it's more important to have food fights than accumulate them. This target was also the reason I was still buying the BP/PP last month and fight to 10k Prestige Points every week on Tuesday. This way I could get 3 Levels Up every week. I am now at Level 191 and with Power Pack (and at least 5k PP every week's Tuesday) I hope to advance 10 levels in a month.

Then I will move to my next project.
