[MoD] - Election results - Day 2957

It is the day of congress elections. This is one of the most important elections we have had in a while, hence here is an advisory from the Ministry of Defense. Read below who to vote for and why the MoD meddles in these elections.

Almost to the end, the MTO-controlled Partiet Macanudo held 12 seats. Fortunately, someone voted for Queen of Asgard so that they stole a seat from their friends. Since Queen of Asgard only have 3 candidates, that fourth seat will be empty for the next term.

Why is strategic voting important?
After today's elections we will have a number of hostile Chilean members in congress. In order for this number to be as low as possible, it is important to get a result from the elections which benefits the continued democracy and stability for our country.
Which party should I vote for?
The only two parties with safe loyal candidates are Teknokratene and Norwegian Green Party. To get an ideal influence of loyalists in the congress, these two parties need the most votes, and an as balanced result as possible.
Why should I vote for a party I don't support?
We need to put partisan view aside and do what is best for our country. As you will see, members of other parties have moved to either TeK or NGP and stand as candidates there. Once the elections are over, they can return to their original parties without losing their seat and resume politics as before. I am a hardcore Teknokrat, but today you will see me give advice to vote for NGP. Desperate times call for desperate measures...
Why are hostile congress members a problem?
Congress members can suggest changes to taxes, minimum wage, Natural Enemy and even impeachment of the Country President. If they are many enough, they might be able to get bills through, or block bills we actually want to see passed.
Why is this even a military matter?
The Chileans lost their attempt of a long term Military Takeover (MTO). Now, those of them who have remained Norwegian citizens are trying a Political Takeover (PTO) instead. If they get a large enough block of seats in the congress, they can cripple our military efforts (Mutual Protection Pact votes, Natural Enemy proposals/votes) for a long time. That's why.
