The next CP election date, November 5th is fast approaching and we've seen little in ways of campaigning for a large number of reasons. On that note, I'd like to throw my hat into the ring for consideration.
I know with a hostile dictator many of you will ask, why even vote?
It is very important you vote. Apathy cannot be how we go down my friends. I promise you we will try hardest to get out of our current mess. Whether it be through diplomacy or war, we must make a decision soon, we can't risk another Spanish-esque summer. Let's not turn out the lights just yet though.
With Italy we have a "mere" occupational problem, but with our familiar foe Albania we have a much bigger issue. Not only do they have a bigger bank, they also have us in a political stranglehold with what I think is one of erep's first major(ish) political takeover via dictatorship. While we have a couple avenues to consider diplomatically and militarily, I think it's best discuss as a country how we want to go about doing it. The first step to anything I think be figuring out this dictatorship issue though. On sidenote, I would like to thank our amazing allies who even through their own campaigns and issues, still help us to this day!

My most recent article kinda lays out what we're doing.. we're going to hold 4 regions for a bit and see if we can make peace and a rental deal on 3 once there's a little trust between us.
The MU will be given to Klop in a few days. I have no position on your election and Klop will be free to with it whatever he and your govt decide.

Italy is going to settle in your 3 northern regions and I believe they can't close their war until Friday. Once that's done, RW's can be started to return anything else they occupy.
I am not a party in any Italy/Canada discussions that may or may not be taking place, so that's really all I know on it.

By the weekend you should have the dictatorship and 6 regions stretching from Quebec to BC. We are not seeking any payment for regions and peace will be unconditional from our side.
We simply need a place to exist.

Added something for that. A screw colin still, acting like Albania is a victim in all this while doing to us with rl money what Serbia does to them with political maneuvering and military might. Once we kick the stinking Italians and Albanians out of the country, I vote AS on one of them immediately.
Several factors brought us here and those include past Canadian aggression towards a helpless Albania and the actions of your current CP. Ignoring that is rather one sided and dishonest.
Albania is not a victim here tho, I didn't claim she was. We beat you like you didn't even belong on the same battlefield. I simply stated what we were willing to give up to try and make peace.. and what we need from it. As always, it's your decision.
This has been the friendliest MTO ever and we are giving up a lot for free.. You can keep on with the tough talk, or you can help us find a solution.
It goes back even further... 2 failed AS on Canada by Albania led to our aggression. We even planned the operation to kick Alb from UAE because of it.

I wasn't aware.. doesn't change much on how we ended up here tho. I think we all know the main reason.. beyond Albania needed a place, why it ended up being Canada.
No excuses, no complaints.. just reality. We can try to move forward or we can keep fighting. I don't know what more I can do than what I've offered.
My problem isn't with Albania, it's with you and your RL money letting you play god in this game, without your money you would be nothing.
To be fair... and honest, the only time someone has problems with someone else's money is when they have more than them. I doubt you would complain about Rylde using co's in a similar thing if it were Canada instead of Albania. Or.. if my co's were for Canada and not against them. It's a hollow argument.
Having recently swapped sides.. I've seen it first hand. Those that cried now celebrate, those that celebrated now complain.
You're in a league of your own Colin. True, we have some players that spend money on this game, but they are nowhere near what you or others in the past have thrown against us. Most of the money we raise comes from our community, not one player with a Visa like you.
Also, I would not be arguing for you to coup and keep one of our enemies wiped if you were on our side. That is a huge douche move and I don't ever want to take actions that kill communities.

ALB (12😎 vs Canada (281) and the AS never lands, but when you add FRYOM (805) and Italy (27😎 combined with huge CO it doesn't take a genius to conclude we should have and did get beaten. My problem is the dictatorship and I will hate you for that until this game ends. Losing battles is one thing, but screwing with our treaties and trying to tell us what we should do as a country is a huge dick move. That hate extends to Italy and Albania. I will steal their BH medals and make them use up CO in battles that I don't even care about just because I can. That isn't tough guy talk, that is straight talk. It isn't a threat, it's a promise. I don't want you to think you are giving us anything. You can't take a man's house and then tell him he can stay in it and act like you are doing him a favor.
There'll be peace.. or there won't. It's up to you.
