New eWorld military events
Raul Doru
eWorld today seems to be waiting the great scale conflict between Serbia and Croatia. Some say that such a war will reshape even the alliances in the game. I personally don't believe it. The failed NE of Croatia against Hungary, if it have been approved, maybe would have generate some changes or interesting moves in that direction, because mainly of the enmity of some ASTERIA countries towards the Huns (I already mentioned something about it in my previous article).
So, it has begun. The Great War of Our Time: Serbia - Croatia. Best described by Mithrantir:
Right after the rejected NE on Hungary, Croatia proposed a Natural Enemy law against Serbia, and I think this time is for real:
LE: Croatia has initiated a Dictatorial coup, in order to protect itself from such possible foreign attempts during the conflict and to be able to concentrate on the war with Serbia:
Serbia responded quickly with the second NE against Croatia in 2 days, that one having big chances to be approve😛
Now we can all agree that the war is upon us. Everyone is aware of the fact that this conflict will imply the involvement of almost all countries, directly, through MPPs fights or NEs against the combatants and their main supporters, as well as opening and fighting in RWs for damage drain (here Serbia being more vulnerable, because it has more colonies).
You can see below the list of Serbia (on the left) and Croatia's (on the right) MPPs:
As you can see on the eMap, Slovenia and Hungary (allies of Serbia) are neighbors of Croatia (they can NE it anytime), but in the same time Greece and Thailand (Croatia's allies) are on Slovenian and Hungarian borders and pose a direct threat for those countries. The other allies of both countries can fight in this war through their on MPPs (but other NE or AS are possible).
Based on their own in-game friendships and enmities, Poland and Russia could fight for Serbia and USA will hit for Croatia.
And let's not forget about the current war between Ukraine and Hungary, strongly supported by Croatia and Greece on Ukrainian side.
It will be also interesting to see how FYROM and Bulgaria will react. Will they stay true to their friendship with Chile and fight for Croatia or they'll prove commitment to the new pact with Serbia and Hungary and join their side?!
For those who want to estimate the damage of both sides, You can use the damage calculator below, provided by Master_rg (thanks mate).

Also Chile seems determined to land in Europe, proposing an AS against Finland, but it will be too far from Balkans to have an immediate direct involvement in the upcoming war.
Cyprus is coming closer to action, proposing an Airstrike on Montenegro:
LE: After rejecting the NE on Mexico, Argentina is voting now a Natural Enemy law against Spain:
LE: Georgia is planning to visit the Balkans, with an AS on Bosnia and Herzegovina. If this move seems strange for you, check the only 2 MPPs of Georgia: Bulgaria and FYROM.
Turkey had some interesting law proposals, some that could indicate it's desire to join the show:
For now, Brazil and Colombia had chosen other playgrounds for themselves:
LE: Even if with no military effects, the Trading Embargo law against Croatia, can be considered a hostile decision of Peru:
For further information on Croatian decision to NE Serbia, you can read the article from their Presidency. Google translate is not so accurate, but I understood that the NAP agreed 14 months ago between those 2 countries, was about no direct conflicts between them and exchange of some provinces, mainly from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nothing about attacking Hungary or other neighbor/ally. Remember that this is the Croatian version of the story, the Serbian one has yet to come (I'll keep you informed on that and other relevant articles on the matter):

In this article, Zdlemmy is explaining the Dictatorial Coup in Croatia:

Mithrantir clarifies the reasons behind Cyprus Airstrike in Montenegro:

LE: Finally, we also have the call to arms of Serbian Presidency. As we expect, it will be a hell of a fight!

In the end, let's see how the e-map of Europe looks today:
How it will be tomorrow?!

I like your analysis, except the fact that Argentina has the power of changing votes. They seems to have rejected NE to Mexico even though they voted yes in the first place.
Go Plato Go! \o/
thank you. i'll change that in the article.
and you got it. pluto is the happiest now... 🙂

great article!
"USA will hit for Croatia."
I doubt that...
I doubt that will fight for Serbia also...
Most probably neutral
At least Croatia has balls now.
Great article !
Congratz !
''It will be also interesting to see how FYROM and Bulgaria will react. Will they stay true to their friendship with Chile and fight for Croatia or they'll prove commitment to the new pact with Serbia and Hungary and join their side?!''
Croatia is no ally or friend, we don't have MPP and after months of hard fighting against us and Macedonia i don't see how any bulgarian is going to fight for Croatia but on the contrary, even without MPP or any agreement with Serbia, the bulgarians will fight against Croatia.. and no it has nothing to do with Chile ...
Uhu, can't wait
