eNPR Donation Drive!
Derphoof
eNPR is a beautiful hodge-podge of news, analysis, and entertainment. It is the soul of a healthy eAmerican media climate. It is an institution that has been with us for many years, with little to no comparison elsewhere in the world at this time. In a game which seems to be shedding members every day, we brought back community radio with a vengeance. I have been honored to have been the host during the past month as we’ve started to build it up yet again.
However, eNPR is an expensive program to keep going. It is not an expense that we can or should simply pawn off on certain members to pick up.
This is why I am calling on this great community to pitch in to keep this program active. Currently, eNPR requires $40 to air every month. This charge is what keeps us on BlogTalkRadio. Sure, we’ve looked at other ways to host the show, but BTR is simply the best option out there.
In calling on you, I don’t have a whole lot to offer, but I do have a bit. The phrase “eNPR is brought to you by…” has become a running joke during the past month of eNPR. However, by donating to eNPR, it can be brought to everyone by YOU! As such, this is what we have on offer:
-Individual Sponsorship: Donate $1-$10, we’ll mention you (or an in-game group) at the end of every broadcast as a sponsor of the show.
-Primary Sponsor: If you donate the whole amount of $40, then I’ll make your MU or other organization the primary sponsor of the show, complete with a short pitch about your organization live on air.
Please consider donating here to keep eNPR active and alive. Thank you for all of your support in the past month.
As usual, eNPR will be LIVE TONIGHT (MONDAY) at 10:00pm EST. Come kick off the new month with us at blogtalkradio.com/eNPR!

Have you looked into Twitch? Easy to set up, no costs and is reliable.
I can see Twitch as a viable alternative. Though, I'm not sure how the logistics for calls/Skype through BTR works, and how that can be adjusted for Twitch. Twitch won't be fully utilized for its streaming abilities, but it should be more than capable for hosting a radio show.

$10 donated. I can't give much, but I gave what I could. Good luck getting more donations!
Every little bit counts! First in the door credits to Jaden A!
Geez! No need to send me the moving tickets and tanks! Thanks, though!
40 bucks per month without Skype-in calls

Put in $40
Thanks Tyler B!
Donated 5 Dollars, I do not listen to eNPR almost at all, but I am always ready to help those working with outside game structures to make things more entertaining.
Greatly, greatly, appreciated!
I am against paying for either radio shows or forums (see eUSA Forum), there are plenty of free services available and there is no need for citizens to spend RL money; might have donated had you allowed Jude on the several times eNPR was FN dying. Denying access to anyone is the last thing you should do, sorry; but I would rather purchase punch in the face....
"might have donated had you allowed Jude on the several times eNPR was FN dying"
Which days were those? Jude's been on the air in at least 3 of my 5 shows so far.
If that is true then I apologize, but both time I listened you had him on hold through the whole show; I even asked in IRC for you to let him on...that's not having him on.
Are you saying he's lying? 🙂
Do you even listen to the shows?
I haven't gotten the impression that that was the case, Franklin, They don't let anyone on for the entirety of the show, but Jude seems to have had his fair share of appearances. I've listened to all of the shows.
I think it has more perhaps to do with this!

Thats my opinion!
Ooo, earning cash from BTR? That would be pretty cool, but I don't think we have the weekly amount of live/archived listens to make any money of of it. It'd be nice if that paid for the show on its own... But as far as I can tell, that would mean RL advertisements and stuff in-show..
I don't think our listeners really want that.
We don't utilize the Revenue Sharing Program because it would require someone to expose their real life information and SSN to an account that's shared with quite a few people.
Yeahhh, that's not something I'd really want to do
