The Rivalry is a Nail-biter
Tokihanatsu Shibou
I have only begun to play eRepublik but during my short time here in Japan I have noticed a rivalry building. On one side is the Old Citizens of Japan and the other side are a Group of Players relatively new. When I first started I created a Military Unit pretty quickly and did my best to staff it. The next thing I knew I was forced to make a decision on one side to back Squibeel for Dictator or to play normal with the crew of New Immigrants. I chose to fight for the Dictatorship then and it ended in disaster. I merged my Military Unit with Shinsengumi and before you knew it the more powerful side installed their own Dictatorship. After the defeat Taxes were raised and the Economy took a punch in the nose.
Soon after that Tsunami was formed and as a Military Unit Commander I have been part of its discussion group. The two sides are now headed towards the Country President Elections and with more Immigrants coming in our side looks less and less likely to change anything through mere Politics. All of this has been kind of Confusing for me, we are a Country without true Unity. Our Country isn't necessarily in Danger at this time we have strong Allies and we are cooperating with our Neighbors demands. So maybe it is time for the two sides to work-it-out in some way, or has it gone beyond the precipices?
I hope the current Dictator resets the Taxes and restores the peoples Economy. One thing that could also get the ball rolling back to normalcy would be the use of more English by the whole of the Nation since it is the Primary Language of the Game. And if that is not possible maybe we could have translated articles for the Multi-lingual society we have currently.
Overall though my first few weeks have been boring medal hunting with a little hint of actual gamesmanship. It seems to me that the majority of Wars during this period of eRepublik are Training Wars. Japan requires more warfare to survive and a more open boarder policy to grow. I hope the two sides currently battling each-other come to terms that us little people don't really care and most of the rivalry predates us.
No National Forums + No IRC makes Senpai a Dull Boy

The Title is Sarcastic, btw
But was it an intentional error? Bitter vs Biter?
Oh that was an error..

Done.
No National Forums + No IRC makes Senpai a Dull Boy
That's a pity.
Yeah I noticed he voted Yes. National Forums and other forms of Communication could be helpful.
eJapan had it but...
We use irc and IGM for commication, so i advice you to do the same.
Unfortunately, its pretty difficult for the younger players to get an explanation about whats going on in politics... The only people who know enough to write about it will be clearly biased (myself included) or will have their comment section devolve into a mix of trolling, insults, and just generally become a confusing mess.
I cant comment on details because Ive been gone too long, but yeah politics are generally divided with CtG, TLS, and DNP on one side and SSG, ULJ, and ISP on the other side. There is internal fighting but it would be strange for any of the parties to truly switch sides without some kind of Political takeover having happened. Everyone is kind of forced to stay in their spots because the other side either doesnt trust them or absolutely hates them anyways 😛
Actually, a few months ago the 5 main parties got together and created a single cabinet and had a common president candidate. I remember that cuz back then i was the only PP who was strongly against that. Unity is overated or better say it is not the main problem.
Wow thats a heck of a turn around. Imma need to weedle out some stories from people
What is main problem than?
@Padre: Youre just too damn sexy thats what. Tone it down a bit, give the rest of us a chance 😛

Reality hits you hard...bro xD Actually there were never been true unity in a political sense in our country, only a temporary cease of fire. That was done in the interest of both (opposing) sides and for our country so nobody complained. But as it usually ends with fake relationships and/or false brotherhood xD when one side put their interests above all others, all hell breaks loose. Mask were taken off and the fight for survival of the "fittest" began xD
Signed.
So, if I got it right, you want to make some kind of peace between two sides of Japan? 🙂
I shall accept this peace, if I get your bum Jekica 😃
Don't know how to translate this... Kad na vrbi rodi grozdje.
He wants your buttocks
when pigs fly
Tokihanatsu I know what he wants, and I had problem to translate my words 😃 And Tarasino helped me, thanks :3
I'd be open for a truce if both sides could share power w/o hickups
🙂 well I'm glad that we share same opinion about this situation and I hope that this article will make both sides at least think about making some agreement in future in the name of better eJapan.
Can I have someone's bum out of the peace deal?
if u need firepower just call JSDF or m.a.i.d xD
