The Newspaper Industry
Tobsta
Hello and welcome to the fifth edition of the Weekly Tobsta.
It's really quite amazing how muddled up the newspaper industry can be. Like as I am writing this article I have 2 subscribers. One of my friends has been around for a day longer than me, has one article about welcoming people to Australia and has 6 subscribers.
The whole industry is very biased toward higher levelled players. It's just so strange how also, only the top voted newspapers are displayed in the News section on the homepage. To actually receive these articles, you have to delve deep into the depths of the list of newspapers, or have a link for it.
Like this article is probably only going to be read by 2-4 people, all of which are probably finding this very boring and repetitive. Which I guess it is.
Thanks for reading! Please Subscribe!

Is not weird, people with more friends can advertise their articles better, and get more votes if it is good. Articles with more votes get shown high because they are more likely to be something people want to read.
My advice would be to condense your five articles into one big and better article. You have promise but you are spreading yourself too thin and frankly competing with your own articles. I can also tell you that subscribers aren't a huge deal, friends are.
Thanks for the tip!
Friends definitely rank higher than subscribers in terms of votes. If enough people like your work, they share it with their friends and so on and so forth. That's the only way you'll ever get over 100 votes! As level approximates time in the game, which approximates number of friends, I can see why you might think only high level players get noticed.
The Top News section is just the highest 5 voted articles from a country's media. Not everyone has the time, or inclination, to read every article they come across.
You all seem to know a lot more than me!
