[CP] Much Needed Update and The End of an Era.

To my fellow Canadians, to our friends and allies across the world, and to our enemies all around us, hello.

I stand before you today with numerous updates in all fields of eCanadian Politics, Military and Community.





Ministry of Defense

Our Ministers of Defense, Xichael and Exalted Druid have been hard at work gathering funds, weapons, supplies, ensuring our allies have our support when and where they need it, and being a constant pain in our occupiers asses.

Resistance Wars

Exalted Druid has spearheaded a Campaign to form eCanada's Resistance Team. Many brave and willing eCanadians have been on alert and ready to respond at a moments notice to open Key Strategic RW's against our enemies and for our allies when the times are right.

This Program has had some success in disrupting our enemies supply bonuses, military plans, and by shifting their priorities to us, as opposed to against our allies on other fronts.

Many of our allies have expressed their gratitude in us assisting them against our common foes by starting drains against said enemies when we can. eCanada, as an Ally, at it's finest!

Supplies!
We have been working on gathering supplies for a unified push against our occupiers, but as yet we feel we haven't had enough to run a successful, and more importantly, long term, campaign against them.

However, we are still hard at work gathering 10's of Thousands of CC, Hundreds of Gold, and Thousands of Weapons towards the eventual push for freedom that is sure to come, but more on this later.

Allied Support
We have had alot of allied support when we've asked for it.

Even when our friends or allies have had their plates full of their own occupiers we have had priority many times.

I'd like to thank the allies who have made this effort to assist our nation when we need it. Along with our traditional allies I'd like to thank Japan and Norway, who, via observation of MoD articles, have put us as their Priority whenever possible, even without MPP or obligation to do so! Thank you!





Ministry of Education/Information

Our Ministers of Education and Information, Xander Kross and Folphjorg, have been busy bodies behind the scenes of eCanada. After a long, and rather tedious, conversation with the Admins I was finally able to get the account details reset for an Organization from which the MoE has begun their Programs.

Big BroFist
The Big BroFist Program has begun and has already paired up it's first few pairs of Bros. We hope to continue this program and continue to provide all sorts of assistance with eCanada's New and Younger players.

We have received some donations from various eCanadians which are then transferred to players in need of these donations. Beyond this, the infrastructure has been put in place for the further expansion of this program to accommodate more and more Little and Big Bros.

Training Grounds Upgrade Program
The TGU Program has been an important point of our MoE, who have been hard at work gather donations and distributing them to hard working and deserving players who have yet to upgrade their Training Grounds. They are also in the process of preparing a more efficient way to get the money from the Government to the Players hands, but this is a work in progress.



Congress and MoF update

Congress
Congress hasn't done much since being elected, a few rogue proposal Bans, a few Blacklist repeals. Not much worth mentioning, at least...not much I CAN mention.

Ministry of Finance
Bryan Alexander, resident Minister of Finance, hasn't had much to do this term. With occupation taking up most of our funds we make a little over 400 every day, a mere fraction of our normal income. This means that the Budget is essentially non-existent as there is virtually no spending going on from our reserves. So not much going on on this front either.



Foreign Affairs
Foreign Affairs, what a complex and intricate battlefield. Klop123, our Minister of Foreign Affairs has been in meetings, secret phone calls, back-alley dealings and all the fun involved in such things.

MPPs: We're poor, cutting back, signing only Diplomatically important or specifically strategic MPPs.
Allies: We're staying with our Current Allies regardless of Alliances and our Friends are our Friends not because of their Alliance or Allegiance, but because they are good friends.

Occupation
We are occupied. We have been trying to plan things out to free ourselves with allied help, but this has fallen through on 3 separate occasions due to a variety of reasons.

Fear not though eCanada, salvation is coming soon. Save your Energy Bars, save your Tanks and CC. Stand on Guard, and Prepare For War.

If you have extra CC/Gold/Weapons/Food Donate them to the Minister you feel is the most appropriate, Defense for Weapons CC or Gold, Education for Food or Low-Q Weapons, or any Donations can come directly to me and distributed accordingly.



LETO
Leto, who Canada has been a part of since it's conception, is dying.

I know many will say otherwise, many will say it can be saved, many will say it can be revived. I disagree, as does my Cabinet, and your Congress.

It is therefore, with a heavy heart, that I am here to announce to you all, that eCanada will be leaving Leto.

We will not be severing ties with our allies within Leto/Asteria or that entire Sphere of Influence, nor will we necessarily be bringing New Allies into our Sphere. However, changes, they are'a comin' and eCanada has always been at the forefront of these changes.

We will not jump in bed with anyone, we will not join up with whoever comes along. We will pick our friends and our allies, and we will stand with them. No matter what happens.
