Join the new world

Hello to my fellow Australians.

Just a quick message to all my fellow Australians, to remind them of the upcoming Political Party elections.

This will be taking place in approx. 8 hours time. While voting is not compulsory, it would be good to see a strong turn out in the election booths. These elections all be it a minor one are important as well.

They are important because it gives you a chance to say where you want your parties to head, to help encourage up and coming policies. The political parties are the ones who choose the congress members (after the election). And by the looks of things, we should have a few congress seats up for grabs in 10 days time.

So please don't vote for the norm, vote for the ones who you think have done the most for you, your party and your country. As I have been saying in each paper, "When you come to vote, feel free to question the policies and the plans of the candidates, feel free to put your hand up to run, to ask for help or to offer ideas. We as a country and as family are here to help each other and listen to each others ideas."
