Candidate for an alternative

Hello eIreland,
well i am here to share with you my opinion about what is happening in our country.
i feel like our future seems already chosen, decided, planned by our actual governement, for our future alliance, for our position against some conflict (for example those with our allies croatia and macedonia attacking our old friend canada)
May be you feel this atmosphear too, of being just here to clic and say yes to the direction our government decided without really debate on it.
The fact is that january can be very important, we will negociate for a future alliance, we will make position for or against old allies maybe (depend on future alliances) and it seems obvious that actual governement and his new candidate for CP in january already chose.
So i feel very important to be candidate to propose an alternative to our citizen.
Personnally (example) i am not to let our friend canada be attacked by our allies, we are not switzerland, we can do something, negociate and find a solution, but not doing nothing and just say :
"hey we can't make a move, ally, friend..we don't decide"
- we have a congress, and congress needs to be more present and consulted, that's my first point to defend.
- no, ireland's future is not already planned because some players decided a way. i am here to be the opposing part of a "déja vu".
- lot of nations have to chose future alliances or create one and i feel more exciting to think about new possibilities.
So irish mates, i am officially candidate to give you the choice before this election ! not an apparent choice after.
This is how i see an election, one with a real choice given to the voters.

Well I was planning on a run. But rl interrupted and due to a mix up/communication snafu I could not be taken off the candidate roll. I do plan on running in the future.
Future alliance isn't chosen - the MoFA did a poll asking citizens what nations they want to see us work with.
Regarding the invasion of Canada by Macedonia and Croatia. Come on. I like Canada, they're my brothers. However we can't tell our current allies not to attack a brother from an opposing alliance?
Canada didn't stop Moldova or China attacking us. We're brothers, we're on opposing sides. Our respect and love for one another is between our two nations and only between us.

i am not alone to feel this mate. you're active, may be too much : you change profile/account often, country etc etc and i think you forgot the real wish of the community with your projects.
and as i said i am here to propose a real election for our country. not that your objectives are a mistake, but there is other option to try.
it's a game and what is too boring that a game we already know the story.
What's other options apart from letting people decide what's the best option?
I've changed my CS yes, but that doesn't mean I haven't been fighting for Irish interests only. When I was in Chile I was there for bonuses, but still was fighting only for Ireland. When I was in Croatia I didn't even know what Croatian parties look like because all the time there I spent on Irish irc rooms and speaking to Irish citizens...
I know only one goal and it's to make Ireland strong and in a stable alliance, there's no two ways to get there, there's only one...with hard work, lots of connections and picking the right choices.
People of Ireland said what they want and they will be able to say it again very soon.
i don't underestimate your will to make ireland strong. i just represent a alternative way of thinking, and use this moment of the game to try othe rpossibilities, there are othe rpossibilities and things to do with other countries.
it' slogical that with the connections you created, you're in the same time relevant and blind. depending the side.

What exactly are you planning on doing if elected? Have you any plans?
first :
- talk with canada and with croatia. it' sour duty as friend and ally to try to stop this conflict.
- see ALL alliance possibilities we can have, all.
Both of those things has been done already CoB, we're in talk with Croatia, Macedonia and Canada and we're trying to find best solution for everyone.
Second, there's no alliances and ALL yet, so nothing to consider. We've started some talks with Canada about how can we make our countries officially closer, but there's lots of difficulties so we're taking step by step..

things i have learnt as CP is we are always obliged to do with unexpected event (war, AS alliance etc etc) so we cannot in one month do all we wanted or "promise" in a manifesto..sadly. that's why i only speack of active events

On the Croatia/Canada thing, they have both been great allies, but Canada are like family and I'll be voting for whoever has the guts to fully back Canada if they need us.

easy to say that now, but as you've shown before, promising things before an election and actually following through on them after you win are two entirely different things.
if you read my article and comment these days, i am candidate to help canada because i think it's not a good thing to "stay neutral" on this case..as i said we're not switzerland and it's a duty for a closed ally to say to croatia that canada is family, as you said.
