Mischief in our highest office

Day 2,578, 06:51 Published in Netherlands United Kingdom by Joshinius
I have not been very active of late, though I usually read the articles posted and it seems like every other day there is an eGovernment scandal, it’s becoming the norm; somewhat like a prerequisite to being president. Optimistically in a somber way it’s not an epidemic that has solely affected the eNetherlands, it’s more of a pandemic plaguing the entire eWorld.
The question I suppose we need to ask ourselves is why is this occurring? Firstly, is it due to the fact of a greedy ePoltician wanting to fill his/her coffer? Or, can it be a way for the elite leaders of our eNations to stir the pot a little by creating drama? Finally, is it merely a pre-fabrication by individuals wanting to put forth a juicy article?
I’d like to take the first argument and assume greed as the culprit, as it’s in some bizarre way the more ePolitically correct option. In this case we as eCitizens with the right to vote must take the blame. We must take responsibility for our actions, voting is a rite that should not be taken lightly. A more thorough method of weeding out potentially corrupt candidates from the voting process is necessary.
What I find interesting is how this seems to feed the ePolitical system, giving do-gooders a reason to lament about all of the corruption and how they’re run for the ePresidency makes all the more sense. As they, if elected will no doubt lead by a policy of truth eradicating all of the filth from the system that has voted them in.
Happy holidays to all and good Luck to all candidates.
