[DMV3] Election Analysis and an Announcement
DMV3
In yesterday's CP election 266 votes were cast which is 19 fewer than November's 285 total votes. The Coalition saw their vote totals in this CP election hold at 101 the exact same number of votes received by DMV3 (6
😎and Quentin Carlson (33) last month. Thr CPF/MDP coalition on the other hand saw their vote totals plummet to 122 from 173 in November. Last month Rylde (91) beat out Chance Harrison (82) with the two candidates taking in a combined 60.7% of the total votes. This month on the other hand they only managed to bring in 45.86% of the total vote.
I believe this lower turnout for the CPF/MDP is the direct result of two incompatible game philosophies attempting to merge behind a single lackluster candidate. Let's see if the CPF/MDP coalition supports a more inspiring MDP candidate next month and if they can reclaim their vote totals from previous months.
Retirement
When I approached IW and PFC about creating the Coalition my hope was that greater competition would bring us better candidates from the CPF and MDP, instead it merely encouraged them to team up and offer us the most dreadfully boring candidate for CP. The Coalition for me was one last attempt to make the political module interesting for me once again. That excitement and hope however has fade and brought me to the realization that I no longer have the desire to be involved in politics. For that reason, I am announcing my retirement from politics. I will finish my term as PP and offer Nyx Lynx my full support in her run as PP, I will finish my final term in Congress, and I will finish my work on the Coalition this month, but this will be my last work as a political figure in eCanada.
I have enjoyed working with many of you, and I have enjoyed battling with many others, but I know longer have the passion and interest for politics I once had. Hopefully I have made the game a little more fun and interesting for my friends and opponents alike. I will be sticking around and working on trying to make my baby boom project a success, trying to start another project to help the community, and I will still support Suffer and the Coalition, but after the 25th I will be doing these things merely as a Canadian citizen. I will be seeking no office, I will not be participating in any elections, and I will be accepting no cabinet posts.
It's been a pleasure serving the eCanadian people and I wish my friends and opponents good luck going forward.

Well, was fun and I'm sure some spicy event in months to come will get you interested again 😛
If you have any ideas or need any help (that I can offer) for the Baby Boom let me know, I'm always down for making eBabies 😉
"Let's see if the CPF/MDP coalition supports a more inspiring MDP candidate next month and if they can reclaim their vote totals from previous months."
So out of curiosity, I checked over the election results for all of 2014...yeah, it really is a two-party system here with either CPF or MDP claiming the majority of votes over all the other parties in pretty much every race.
I guess putting a small dent in their total numbers is an accomplishment worth being proud of. Well done!
By no means is this a two party system, If the coalition were to support a worthy candidate, I would definitively consider voting for such an individual and vouch for my party to support them.
This month was odd, we have no members of our party interested in running.
Sorry, I guess I got it wrong. But when I saw that only one party or the other has won the election every month for the past year, I made a hasty assumption.
I'm sure there is a lot of power-brokering going on behind the scenes than I am aware of. Winning an election is probably not the best way to define the relevance of a third-tier party.
I know longer have the passion. I no what you mean.
I think you're mad, give it another month at least 😉
YOU!
Get over here.
NOW...
In the week or so tbh Mr Klop
That has to be the shortest election analysis I've ever seen. So basically, two parties that usually go at each others throats found a candidate they could both support and they ended up having more votes than the coalition. Hmm... Makes sense, but I like my take on it. More people believed that I was capable of doing the job even with your best efforts to oppose me.
Well, I hope you had fun. My opinion is that Punisher and the coalition you started both suffered (pun intended) because of your antics. This is a shame. I hope that Punisher tries again, this time without your bias added. I also hope the coalition continues to work together to get their voices heard.
Actually you being on the ballot cost the MDP 51 votes. Me running my mouth cost the coalition 0 votes....
It doesn't matter how many votes it "cost" them, their candidate won the election. In the end, that's all that matters.
Let's see if you know how to retire any better than chickenguys does. I doubt it
Good work mate! o7
Coalition would have won if they put up a decent candidate and not Punisher. MDP's support this month was far from complete and, despite dominating the primary, Dill's support in the CPF came as a result of a weak ballot and not an endorsement of his ability to do the job.
When Quentin goes on the ballot next month I think you'll see a different result.
So deals have already been made and we know the coalition candidate for next month already?
Their order was IW/PFC/Suffer with candidates unless their guy won and wanted to run again. So with PFC next month I'm assuming it's gonna be Quentin, although I don't know that for sure.
your eyes must be brown, because you're so full of shit. All your attempts to discredit me have failed, and after all your toxic comments about the Coalition ,and me,now you're saying that we would've won if i wasn't the candidate, only because you and few guys from MDP hate me. That still doesn't mean you know me, and what i'm capable of. You're trying to prove that i wasn't a 'decent' candidate, but, thank God, 100 people think otherwise.
Think whatever you want, i've proven that i'm a worthy individual who can lead this country. I didn't win this time, which doesn't mean i'll give up.
I want to congratulate Dill and wish him the best of luck. And Muglack, you and Kaydee can still continue your pathetic crusade against me. I couldn't care less about your opinion.
also, you're persistently playing the card of my 'indecency', but the thing you don't know is that i'm not, and don't wanna be 'decent' ONLY towards a$$holes like you and that slime ball Kaydee.
welcome to the retirement home... bocce over there, bridge and chess over there, investment club meets on thursday nights, robotics in the basement, opensource developers have the third floor, MMA training starts at 6 a.m. goes till basketball at 4, over there is the dining room for people who love butter and that little one is for those who are off beef fats,.... ...expresso or no? 🙂
