Sky High Taxes
The Black Sheep Party is the only party to unanimously oppose and vote against the tax increase. If you want it lowered we need your help. Black Sheep is vastly out numbered in Congressional Votes. Vote Black Sheep for Congress on the 25th.

All I keep hearing from the raise tax fanatics is "If you dont agree with having the taxes as high as I say for as long as I say then you're Un-American & you want us to have no reserve and get wiped" Meanwhile we still have a heavy reserve and our reasonable tax rate was still adding money to it. Even with the chunk that was just spent we are still far from having an empty reserve.
Be here on the 25th. Vote Black Sheep.

Lower taxes! Save America!
Voted.
Is there a reason the import tax is so low? It seems it would be good to lower the sales tax rate and raise the import tax rate.
I raised this question a while ago on eusa forum
http://eusaforums.com/forum/index.php/topic,28585.0.html
and outside of being flamed at for raising the question
near as I could understand the arguments against raising it are:
1) the revenue is so low they can not measure it
2) cheap imports keep cost down
3) there are factors that apply only the eUS that makes it a bad idea but not bad for all the other countries that have higher import taxes
Thanks for the reply and for the link.
Baaaaa!
"there are factors that apply only the eUS that makes it a bad idea but not bad for all the other countries that have higher import taxes "
Get rig of Kemal and u get rid of "these factors" 🙂
@Supernana That has to be the best thing I've heard all day.
I don't think getting rid of me gets rid of the principles of economics, but who knows?
I raised the same question, on the forum:
My post was deleted and I was flamed.
Thank you for the reply. I seriously doubt domestic companies will make a killing off of other players as claimed.
If domestic prices rise too high over global market prices, some eUS citizen will just move to another country, buy products on that market and resell them for a profit on the eUS market.
Profit one way or the other will be going to US citizens, instead of abroad.
Well I guess some of the profit would be going abroad, since products will be bought abroad. But still, domestic prices would should remain stable with global prices.
The legislation is used, selectively, in both examples. That's why I always ask for less legislation.
Two party members suggested that we relocate, after the increase. I suggest that everyone stay calm.
I Believe that the upcoming administration will reduce the tax.
one theory i heard. with low import taxes.
everyone can sell in american markets. keeping the prices really low. so any eusa citizen can get goods cheapest without having to move. americans are lazy and don't like to move. well i have yet to move to buy goods.
other foreign nationals will also come to america to buy goods here. and if they stay here fight in american battles work in american factories.
so more volume from both americans and foreginers.
the more volume produces more taxes. so lower import taxes generally generates more import tax.
however i have never seen any numbers so i am not sure how true the benefit is having lowest prices and highest volume.
it probably is some middle ground that is best. but we cannot predict long term consequences and do not have access to economic information. so finding the maximum return from raising import taxes would be hard.
which is the reason for some tax so we can see the volume of raws traded on the american markets.
If the argument ever made sense - it doesn't now since prices are super low - well food prices just spiked because of the tournament but that is temporary
well lower prices realitive to other nations. to give us an edge.
however i want to make it clear i would support higher import taxes. i would be a big fan of not having to buy export licenses to get the best deal for my goods.

AHHHHHHHHHH. i mean BAAAAAAAAAAAAA
It's not the size of the tax that counts; It's the way that you use it.
i would be a big fan of the return of the 51% idea, pay combat orders for every american battle but only to Americans and only if under 51% so no damage is wasted and all taxes are returned to the Americans that do the most damage smartly
Don't let things like being factually incorrect stand in your way.
You sure aren't letting it.
For example?

The SFP Congress critters also opposed this particular tax hike. Not 'cause we're opposed to raising taxes in general -- after all, we're socialists! -- but because of the lack of transparency, closed-door high-handedness, and general lack of populist-epic-ness exhibited by Them.
True this. I was very busy in RL and didn't participate enough in the discussion in private congress. I and every other congressman involved should have asked for the discussion to be made public. I didn't and I admit my failure to the eUSA public. I was almost ok with 10% but 12% is just too much and I will do what my limited time allows to get the tax rate back down. My sincere apologies to all of you and I will effort to do better in the future!

Definitely a WTF moment, 12% sucks.
What`s our current reserve? And how much was spent with the 2 AS? One of which wasn`t even on us.
It wouldve been a lot more expensive if we didnt stop the 2nd AS right there.
