As you can see in my newspaper’s history – I don’t really like to write articles in eRepublik.
This is my third since I’ve registered (I wrote two more but they didn’t meet my quality requirements after all and I didn’t publish them).
Lately I was wondering about TP/FF/Mercenary income comparison.
I’ve seen two articles about it (www.erepublik.com/en/article/2341905/1/20 and http://www.erepublik.com/pl/article/2341427/1/20) but in the first one author focused on bazooka fighting (which I don’t do). Looking at 2nd I felt that data is incomplete.
So I had some free time and I’ve decided to make my own countings.
I’ve made some “controversial” assumptions, which I’ll try to explain now.
1st – fighting with Q7 means we spend 20hp for 1kill (which is more or less true, but we can’t measure it without years of collecting data)
2nd – average cost of flying while making FF is 20cc for 1 RW
I’ll stop for a second here.
I know that you don’t have to fly after every RW. You can even end the whole cycle (24 medals is one cycle) without moving. And even if you WILL move, you probably won’t pay 20cc, but more. That’s why I assumed that this cost is – more or less – 20cc for 1 RW, which means that you will pay:
You don’t have to agree with me, and if you will persuade me with logical arguments, I will change it, but I had to make an assumption of some sort to count it all.

3rd – this one is about frequency of flying while achieving Mercenary Medal
I thought about three types of people fighting it
Constant – person focused on, fighting day by day, the only fights he makes – 25 flights for average of 20cc
From time to time – 10 flights for 20cc
Seldom – 5 flights for 20cc
The first one – constant – is the most important here, as I’m focusing on active achieving of medals.
4th – no flying while achieving TP medals
Q7 weapon price – 5.3cc
Q2 food price – 0.07
Gold price – 200cc
6th - while counting FF - you fight only in battles where resistance wins
So, here are the calculations:
1. FREEDOM FIGHTER WITH Q7
It means that you earn 9882cc for the whole cycle (24 medals) and you spend 156000hp on it. Even though you lose on certain medals (18, 21, 24 -> 8x75, 9x75, 10x75) it’s still worth to end the cycle.
1.5 FREEDOM FIGHTER WITH Q7 (TRAVELLING MONEY HALVED)
2. FREEDOM FIGHTER WITH BAZOOKA
You earn 19515cc for the whole cycle with 78000 HP spent on it. But the important thing is also the usage of bazookas, you will use ~2600 bazookas for the whole cycle (and won’t receive new ones as they don’t drop from bazooka fighting).
2.5 FREEDOM FIGHTER WITH BAZOOKA (TRAVELLING MONEY HALVED)
3. MERCENARY WITH Q7
You lose no matter how often you fly, completely unprofitable.
4. MERCENARY WITH BAZOOKAS
There’s a nice profit from every kind of frequency. Still, it’s less profitable than FF with bazookas.
5. TRUE PATRIOT WITH Q7
I didn’t count NE influence and 100% booster.
As you can see, TP with Q7 starts being profitable after you cross the 70k hit border (without 50% booster) or 45k hit border (with 50% booster).
Income on TP varies mostly on Q7 cost, but with current prices I (ąround 115k hit) earn 387cc on every TP Medal (w/o 50% booster) or 591 cc (with 50% booster).
You have to check your own profit.
6. TRUE PATRIOT WITHOUT WEAPON
TP starts being profitable without weapon around 17500hit (so around 40k strength). If you have less than 40k strength, you will pay more for food than earn from medal.
I have around 40k hit from Q0 so I would earn 562cc on every medal, which is better than with Q7.
It looks like the most profitable way to earn with fighting (forget about COs for a while) is Freedom Fighter with bazookas (if you have bazookas of course).
I decided to compare “FF with bazookas” to other methods of earning by used HP variable. It means that this table will show you for example how much will you earn fighting TP with Q7 and using the same HP as were used for the whole FF cycle.
So, it means that if you have 100k hit, you can make 7.8TP while doing the whole FF cycle with bazookas.
It clearly shows that “FF with bazookas” is the fastest way to earn.
It also shows that “FF with Q7” is now more profitable than “TP with Q7” even for people with 125k hit. It means that soon people (135k hit+) will fight for TP with better profits than FF.
But what if you fight with booster?
It’s a different story, fighting TP with booster is more profitable than FF since you cross ~90k hit border.
Time for few conclusions.
1. If you have a lot bazookas, the best for you is to do FF with bazookas.
2. If you don’t have bazookas:
a) and you fight with Q7 – FF is more profitable than TP (at least until you will reach 135k hit border)
and you fight with Q0 – TP becomes profitable around 40k strength
3. Forget about mercenary (at least forget about focusing on it, it's still worth to complete it if you achieve 40+ flags while doing FF)
4. If you care about rank points (as I do) more than about profit, fight always with Q7 (even though you’ll be missing some profit).
5. If you want to fight TP with Q7, it becomes profitable after you reach 70k hit border.
6. If you use Moving Tickets, Freedom Fighter becomes even more profitable.
Conclusions are rather obvious and I know there will be people saying “I knew it 2 years ago” but I wanted to count it for myself and I just decided to share it thinking it can help someone.
