TGN-A new term on the horizon
Sinon
I hope you all are looking forward to the next term and will support JetiShumadinac as our next CP!
Now, what I will write about this time is my experience of the current term that's nearing its end, my personal hopes and expectations from about one month ago and for this term, the discussions that lead to the cooperation between DNP/CtG/TLS and SSG/ULJ and the actual results we've produced so far. (I also apologize for all the text in this article... x_x)
To begin with, let me tell you about what lead us to this cooperation.
A few weeks before the last CP-election Hideyoshi and I started to discuss the possibility of cooperating with DNP in forming a new coalition that would ensure a safe and active government and improved relations between the Serbian/Hungarian citizens and the rest of the eJapanese citizens, which had ended up in what I like to refer to as a civil-war in eRep-style, with accusations and hatred dominating the relations both politically and in the community/media of eJapan.
After we had discussed for a few days or something, we agreed that we would try to cooperate with DNP and be open for CtG, TLS and ISP to join as well, which in the end the ISP didn't. So we made a new thread with Geezus and presented our ideas and intentions, which he agreed upon and began further discussion with CtG and TLS. I then made a suggestion of what I believed to be a fair agreement, which the DNP, CtG and TLS agreed upon with a few demands.
They wanted to keep our relations with eHungary and eSerbia as well as keeping Nolmut in MoF-position. We agreed upon this by being ensured to have representatives in their cabinet the term after, as well as the possibility of suggesting our own people to fill any inactive positions that they couldn't get their own active minister in. This was agreed upon and we could focus on ensuring Hideyoshi's victory.
When we first started on the first term, I can honestly say I was prepared for the worst, which would be total inactivity from the representatives from DNP/CtG/TLS and that the whole cooperation could fail. I was also aware of the possibility that our parties wouldn't get along and that the whole agreement could be broken.
However after the first week things looked more promising than I had hoped for. All the representatives were active and we all did our job, kept an almost daily active discussion and got along quite well. What had been a doubtfull impression of the Serbian/Hungrian-dominated parties turned into a quite good and promising one. Even though we didn't get the best results, I were able to view the "opposite side" in a whole new perspective. What I have seen is not any PTO'ers or people with bad intentions or anything, but hard-working, friendly and good people that was doing whatever they could for a better eJapan. Even my best expectations were far off from how well things have actually gone and I believe the same to be from their side as well.
I'm sorry, but this picture was just way too tempting xD
Now we are getting close to the end of this term and the next term awaits with Jetishumadinac as CP. I am truly looking forward to this as he has promised to keep as much of the current cabinet as possible (most of the changes will be because people don't have time for another term) to ensure that the work will be continued, as well as placing some more people in it as vice ministers. I expect that we will be able to produce even better results this coming term thanks to our cooperation and I look forward to the possibility of the MoD being expanded with some vice ministers as well, be it Serbians, Hungarians, Norwegians, French etc. as long as they are active. I don't care about RL nationality, I care about activity and cooperation!
And by this I would like to thank everyone for their hard work this term and I look forward to another term with those of you that will continue in our nation's government next term.
As for those of you that won't be able to continue, it's quite unfortunate, however rest assured that you have helped this nation on its way towards a better future!
Keep up the good work everyone!

Coalitions are fine however let's not forget the value of diversity.

Having people from the opposition to fill parts of the government isn't a bad thing. Not will it have any effect on the value of diversity either. The important part is to have a active government, which is the main goal of this cooperation, however each party still has their own goals and values. These are shown through the presidents, which will focus on their own party's goals and values, even if they are cooperating with other parties.
As an example, the current coalition has as its goal to ensure an active government and a united eJapan. However while Hideyoshi valued our relations with other countries and active media by both government and individuals, Jeti I suspect will focus on getting more experienced candidates for the different ministries and increase the political activity in eJapan.
The SSG on the other hand, is more focused on providing supplies to their members and use the military feature in eRep to increase activity and unite eJapan through combat. Thus, if we were to get a CP in the near future, this would probably be our focus-area.
I meant election-wise... after any election we should all cooperate and act united and we do that at a certain level anyways.
The offer we got was "Hello, CP elections are near. I wanted to ask you does you party change their mind and want to join big coallition DNP-ULJ-SSG-CtG-TLS ?? Your party is welcome too "
From this message I thought it was just about the election, supporting a single candidate. Maybe there was a miunderstanding 😉 No worries
Ahh, now I see more clearly what you meant 🙂
Well, as of the last election and this one, the reason why we went for only a single CP-candidate was because it was a necessity in order to get the government back on track. The two coalitions SSG/ULJ/ISP and DNP/CtG/TLS needs to be broken up and the parties must be able to cooperate with each other as well, instead of fighting as two large coalitions.
We all agree that the competition must be kept alive, thus the agreement was limited to only two months as well.
V! Very Nice!
