CP - LETO and bits n' bobs

Day 2,385, 11:11 Published in Australia Australia by Aus Prime Minister Office

G’day Aussies,

So, it's been a ''fun'' month. Many ups and a few downs and lots going on behind the scenes, but I have always been active and tried to keep you guys amused while working on a few things that have been in the pipeline for a while...but more about that in a moment.

There has been a few successes and a few failures as well, the baby-boom competition where I offered a 150 gold from my own account failed miserably as nobody entered or showed an interest. So I spammed a few outside websites myself and numbers have gone up to slightly to a point where we now roughly get 6 new players per day...and yes i genuinely do believe that is a coincidence and nothing to do with myself scouring porn sites as an excuse to start a baby boom...pardon the pun.

I had planned to co-ordinate our Military Units so we fought more as one force rather than separate entities but sadly came across stone cold silence and lack of even a single response from some of our bigger Military Units, including one or two in our top five which was worrying. Take a bow the Diggers and the Knighthawks. So sadly that turned out to be a failure but not because of lack of effort on my behalf.

You have had weekly competitions and call to arms returning where we the Government tried to help you as much as possible, that includes food drops to help keep up your health. The ADF supplied Q7 tanks to help you young fighters and we kept our impressive stack of MPP's. We took the battle to the Northern colonies of Australia's (also known as Indonesia) capital - Java and made them wait two days for the privilege. We've had some serious pushes on the battlefield and some serious damage directed our way which sadly has not been enough but rest assured our day will come very soon I promise you that...speaking of which -

I am proud to announce that Australia has become the latest member into the LETO brotherhood, we are just awaiting the invite into the Alliance but we have been officially accepted. I wish to thank all the support we received from our friends in LETO and the backing from some of the games biggest nations in Asteria. Australia thanks you, I thank you and our community thanks you and we hope to work with you as much as humanly possible in winning victory after victory on the battlefield. Some of the messages of support I received during our application was very humbling and I honestly can't thank you all enough considering what a small community we are. We are in your debt...

Now we must not expect instant priority, we must not expect huge damage straight away and we must realise that we need to show we are just as much willing to help as we are expecting help. This is what being part of an alliance is all about - pulling together even if it does not benefit your own interests straight away. We are now part of a brotherhood where each nation needs support at one time or another so please lets show the world we can be damned good allies after all why should we demand help if we are not willing to give it ourselves? The next few weeks will be exciting times for eAustralia so please keep the faith and get ready because the tide will soon be turning.

...and finally on a personal note thank you to everyone in Cabinet, and all the deputies. I hope you have picked a few things up and over all a huge thank you to Mr Sherlock Holmes and Claire Louise. I couldn't have done it without you.

HAIL AUSTRALIA
HAIL LETO
HAIL ASTERIA
