[ATO-news]General survey(January 2014)
Just a little over a week ago Mr. Wonka(our current Party President) started a survey and a few day's before this was published he asked me to whip up an article about it.
This is what we will show:
* About ATO leadership and origins.
* None related trivia.
* Past and future Country Presidency.
* Possibility in government positions and military involvement.
* Citizenship and allies.
One more note for all who are not in ATO/UU parties:
This is not a view reflecting the whole of eBelgium nor is it a view from political parties other then All TOgethers & Union-Unie.
Bear that in mind when commenting!
It is unfortunate that not all members responded as it would have been far more representative, yet i can tell you that the responses came mostly(if not all) from the more active members of our party.
A total of 11 valid responses where given and no invalid entry's. I will refer to this entries as answers or responses.

➀ - About ATO leadership and origins.
It is pretty clear what this part is about.
* What party are you in?
* Who would you like to see participate in ATO Leadership?
There is not a one single name above any other which indicates the spirit of our party, "we do things All TOgether!
The names are sorted as the number of times they have been mentione
Tony Clifford & JdlF(3 times), Tensa Zangetsu San & BelgiumGeneral & NLSP(2 times).
Following are mentioned only once: Beaverss Tribute to Raskol, tommot, Icurlybear, Boklevksi, Viklefou, Lorgroth, SX80.
* Before you joined ATO or UU, where you previously in another eBelgian Party? if so which party?
This chart is very clear, most members have been ATO since the very beginning(that they joined), a few left only to quickly return.
Most of those who started in another party came form either Res Belgica or HOPE(the none PTO'ers) while a few other parties have also been mentioned such as Belgium for Belgians(Bf
* What would you like to see this month, in terms of ATO activities?
- some fun notes hinting in the direction of the friendly rivalary between the 2 monarchy's of eBelgium and the eNetherlands.
- Some have just no idea. This is mostly because of the decrease of activity in eBelgium and a bit in the whole of eRepublik.
- Increasing (internal) activity is the highest on the agenda as i interpet the results. this could also extend in some way toward a national level of activity.
- Also mentioned a few times is the need for articles about or from our party(ATO). This is where this newsletter fits in.

* If you could have the participants of this pole play any other online game with you, what would you have them play?
Just a few idea's what one would do other than this game.
Most responses just didn't know, while the game poker, Mount&Blade series are mentioned, it is mostly NationStates that was called upon a few times.
One game you should never forget... "Raise your Beaver's Empire"... TIMMBEEEEEEEEeeeeerrr!!!!

Who where they and who will they be.
* Who would you like to see become the President of Belgium in 2014?
These names where given as possible Country President(some names could be our next CP while other names might apply for over 6 months up to more then a year.
One response said that it should be someone who is interested in doing the job.

* Who was your favorite eBelgian President? Why?
2 responses couldn't give an answer to this question.
This is very clear who was the most favorite Country president in the past.
Alexandross has 4 out of the 9 answers choosing him as the most notable and loved CP of eBelgium. This was mostly because of the way he handled the war with eFrance(2013)
The following are also mentioned 2 times as favorites:
Beaverss Tribute to Raskol, JdlF, The Valeyard, MaryamQ, Tony Clifford.
Nohjis was also mentioned once.
➃ - Posibility in government positions and military involvement.
The positions they would choose and what involvement it would be.
As well as their current and past military involvement.
* What is your favorite Ministry to work in?
If they work in a ministry(part of a cabinet/government), most prefered departement would be either Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MoFA), Ministry of FUN/Secretary of Media & FUN(MoFUN/SoMF), Ministry of Finance(MoF) and Ministry of Defence(MoD).
The following also hold some interest for a few people: the CP-seat, Ministry of Education(MoE) or Supreme Court of Justice(mostly forum related).
- If you choose (I prefer not being involved with the government) please answer
Some people prefered to choose a position outside of the government.
A few prefered to be more involved in their Military Unit and one said he/she would be more involved in the Party Leadership.
* What Military Unit are you currently enlisted in?
It shows that those who answered are fairly spread around the world, but when looking at the profiles of all our members, it shows that most are in a Belgian MU.
* Have you been in a eBelgian State Military Unit?
There are no negative answers here.
You can see that most have been in BNA, BCA or ABC. some have been in former units like the predesecor of Green Militia, BAF and BTA. one answeer said he/she was in the unit Olympus Belgica.
➄ - Citizenship and allies.
Origins within the game and a "what if" question.
Their opinion about our allies.
* Before you became a eBelgian citizen did you have citizenship else where? if so where?
Most of our members have started playing right here in eBelgium.
Altough the following countries of origin have also been mentioned(this is origin in eRepublik, not in Real Life):
eUSA, eSwitzerland, eUK, eHungary, eIsrael and eSlovenia.
* If you could gain citizenship to any eCountry where would you go?
As you can see in the chart, most prefered place to be next to eBelgium are eUnited Kingdom.
Also mentioned where ePoland, eUSA and ePakistan. While some just don't have a specific choice. and some would stay in eBelgium no matter what.
* In your humble opinion, What country's are eBelgium's closest allies?
6 people would choose eUK and 6 people would choose ePoland or they would choose one of the 2.
Also mentioned 2 times was eSwitzerland. Then there was also eChile, eMacedonia or eBulgaria.
Some-one said "we have none". While some-one else just doesn't know enough about it to say something about it.
Based on this i conclude that most of our members consider eUK and ePoland our closest allies(despite the fact that we used to be in rival alliances.

► Political party changes since this month
* A new party was created. It was called P.U.P.P.Y.[/u] and shortly afterwards it was shut down. More info about this matter can be found in thistopic.
* The United Leftist Alternative has been renamed into Beaver United Left Alternative.
* Belgian Communist Party no longer exists(day 2250)
* Belgian Labour Party no longer exists(day 2250)

► National Healthcare System
Because of the serious lack of income, our nation is unable to keep on supporting it's welfare programs.
As an alternative the "National Healthcare System" was presented here: [MoF] National Healthcare System.

► The Belgian Monarchy.
As of the first half of this month(January) our nation has retaken the monarchy in it's ranks. Belgian Monarchy Act made it official.
It is a matter of day's after that ratification that we eBelgians got our new King: [eBe]All Hail The King
Right after the coronation that an incident with the eDutch monarchy rose up: [King]Message to Kordak
It's after our King was chosen that the court was formed and presented here: [King]My Court

No bad criticism intended but are those percentages exact?
There is only a total of 11% on your first pie chart for example.
Unfortunately it is a problem in the charts-templates of mine.
Even if it is not in percentages(which is in this case), it will still show the % sign.
