I'm running for PP
Hey guys i'm running for PP again - something which I've done before but i'm excited to do again. Here's a wee run down of what I'll bring to the role:
Communication
Previous terms have included weekly updates (with actual content!) - something that I hope to bring back
I'll also be looking to have our mass messages within the UKRP group again as it was a useful form of communication
I'll also be looking to use our party funds to run a competition most days on the in-game feed. (Helper required!)
Membership
I'll obviously be looking at membership - hopefully mobilising the party to recruit.
Elections
CP primaries will take place through the forum. I'm willing to try another method instead (perhaps in-game messages) to try and ensure more people are involved. I would like to improve our relations with a number of other parties, and begin to rebuild trust
Education and Development
The UKRP development scheme will be launching with a number of 'lectures' followed by a short test to assess competency. These will allow the new player to gain skills and confidence and ensure that UKRP has a growing base of capable players - benefiting the eUK as a whole. (Helpers Preferable)
My Team
These positions are PAID (whats the point in being a capitalist party if you don't throw money at things?)
I'm looking for:
- 1x vPP: 2K per term - 'younger' players only
- 1x 'Dean' of UKRP Uni: 5K per term, performance related
- 2x 'Lecturers': 1K per term, bonuses available!
- 1x Recruitment Team Lea
😛no salary, performance related bonuses available

Didn't the UKRP do that to judge congress candidates in the past? :3. I think I remember something like that.
We did, you had to pass a quiz to prove you're not a complete hornswozzle or Mada wouldn't put you on the list, even if you were from another party

I like the idea of a paid term. Maybe getting paid at the end of the term isn't the way to do it as people might give up in the middle and try really hard at the end.
Pay will be given out at quarterly intervals for just that reason. The final pay will be the one with all the bonuses though!

Yes - out of my own pocket, hence why the teams are quite small and the pay isn't totally amazaballs. That being said if the scheme is a success then we could look at doing it in future as part of the part scheme.
Lets be honest - we have plenty of richfags sitting around not doing an awful lot. Why not use that as part of the incentive to get new players sucked into the 'meta' part of erepublik?
Its also better than just handing out stuff because its in exchange for work, useful to the party and overall useful to eUK as it engages people (hopefully).
