Give Thanks... For Me?

My Fellow Citizens,

A little mood music (especially for the fellas).

Exactly ONE year ago to the day, the one and only Lansizzle was officially eBorn into the New World. As a citizen of the eUnited States, I found myself lost in such a large community. Luckily for me, I was scooped up by some of the best people I know, and shown the ropes. I learned quite a bit by dabbling in politics, commanding an offshoot of our MU, and by just playing the game.
I learned very quickly that if you wanted people to read your articles, you had to put pictures like this in it:

Back to my story…

I’m lost, I don’t know anyone really, and I don’t actually know what I am doing. I did what any other brand new person in the prison yard would do. I found a target, and started getting after it. I ended up making a few wise cracks on some articles, referencing everyone’s “favorite” player in the eUS and his ridiculous failure that is his life. I never knew that those shots at the PTO king of the eUS would get me noticed, but get me noticed it did. Later that day, I officially accepted the invitation from thedillpickl to join his MU Pickle’s Patriots. I have always been in the PPs, and I doubt that I will ever leave. My MU mates are one of the reasons that I stick around to play this unforgiving cesspool that is eRep.

I spent some time in the We the People Party (shout out to Mazzy Cat, Hale26, and all of the other peeps from WTP) and had a blast. However, there was a nation out there that needed some assistance with a PTO problem of their own, and I decided to lend a hand.

The tiny nation of Switzerland accepted my CS request (and many of my friends as well) and we were off to the land of Chocolate, Watches, and Pocket Knives! Ok, I know, there is soooo much more in Switzerland than that. And, there are soooo many cool people that I have met while I have been here as well (Rican, Trogdorthetroll100, kimiyimi, Alexandre Walen, and too many others to mention - Don’t feel bad if I didn’t mention you, you all know who you are). We have had our ups and downs, but at the end of the day, I feel like we are all working to better this nation.

So, aside from being in the best MU around, spending time with pretty cool folks that I have met while playing, writing a few articles here and there, learning what an IRC is and how to use it, the non-stop awesomness with Slovenia (nothing but love boys and girls), and basically having as much fun as one could while playing a Romanian browser game, the last year has been, well…

Different. But in a good way.

I appreciate you all, and I wish you luck in all of your endeavors, in game and in real life. I’m not going anywhere, and hopefully neither are you.
Let’s make my second year in this pit of despair even better than the first!
