Who is Joshinius?
Well, I’m a return player…Actually I never left the game, I sort of went into hiatus. My erepublik beginnings go back to the summer of 2008. Unfortunately I do not recall being affiliated to any political party, only that I was a Canadian citizen and that I fancied a newspaper called “The Voice of London” edited by Adam Sutter.

You left the game early on?
After a few months of playing the game I sort of became a little disenfranchised, along with real life commitments and priorities, my capacity to continue to play the game on a seriously but fun level was in question. Thereafter my responsibility and prior to game irregularities regarding eCanada my erepublik participation came to a sad end.

Returning to the game?
I recently revisited the erepublik site and luckily still had my username and password stored away. I logged in and realized that a few changes had taken place. I wasted no time getting re-aquatinted with the game; the changes made to the game definitely appealed to me and decided to continue on playing the game.

If I remember correctly shortly after re-familiarizing myself with the game I was luckily invited to join “The Unity Party” by Bohemond4 and not long after that invited by alittlec4 to join “The Unity Party Family” military unit. I’d like to add that in hindsight joining the TUP organization was probably one of my wiser decisions not only is it one of the bigger it is also one of the more active and well run erepublik cliques. I’d also like to give a shout to my employer Piran who is one hell of a boss, a generous and all-round nice guy.

You’re standing in the game at the moment?
Well, it’s been a couple of months that I have been playing erepublik steadily; more precisely, on a daily basis and may I say that it’s been at times challenging, but for the most part rewarding and a great deal of fun.

Recently I promoted to Field Marshall, not the highest rank for a military man, but a very proud honor nonetheless. Wiki states that a Field Marshall’s duty back in the day was as a “Kings keeper of horses”, noble status for the times, I’m sure. Though, for the modern era, a slight modification in job description.

What does the future hold for Joshinius?
No-doubt, I will continue with my military career, with the hopeful aspiration of one-day making the rank of Titan. I also find the political arena quite interesting and look forward to either a simultaneous or post political vocation. In reality the options are endless, who knows what the future will bring.

A gracious thanks to all who have aided Joshinius towards his betterment in the game.
