A Strong top 5 makes a Strong America.

The feds have done more than any other party in this nation. We’re the oldest, the most innovative, and we’ve helped the most newbs. We invented party-affiliated militia, and when we split apart with our first militia, we decided that we like each other so much, we want to make a new one so that we can keep fighting together as feds.

We were the first to start aggressively screening our members for multis and PTOers. Our FBI is unique, and we’ve shared our methodology with other parties, military units, and anyone who asks.

We’re the only party to ever operate a forum like ours. We’ve been told over and over that we should merge our forum with the eUSA forum. We don’t merge with them though, its not that we hate them, its that we love hanging out with other feds. The result is that we have the most active forum in the eUS.

We’re the only party to regularly and successfully hold IRC party meetings. We don’t want a big divide between our cabinet, our leadership, and the rest of our members. There are specific jobs that must be done, someone has to do them and be reliable, thats why we have a cabinet. We have fed meetings because everyone should get to know what’s happening and ask on IRC any question they want.

We don’t just PM newbs asking them to join our party. We PM them asking if they need help. If they join, we PM them about forums, IRC. When they get to the forums and IRC, we PM them about getting a fed job. We hound them about the possibilities at their fingertips. We beg them to show their potential and to lead.

I wouldn’t be a federalist if I didn’t think we are the best, and thats how it should be for everyone. If I ever start worrying we’re not the best, I go and find out why, and I work to fix it.



Partisanship is an ugly idea to some people, I think its a great thing, because I want every other top 5 party to feel about themselves the same way I feel about the feds. I want to lead us into a better top 5.

I’ve been PP before, I think most people know that. One month I had the pleasure to serve at the same time Fionia was PP of the USWP. Ever since I can remember, we have had a horribad relationship with the USWP. They loved to troll us, make fun of us, and fight us every single inch. That did not change a single bit during this particular month, what was unique though, was that me and Fionia became strong friends as we tried day after day to best each other.

Its all about honesty. It’s simple as that. Me and Fionia put together the greatest ATO army seen up till now, we were an excellent team in making sure that the rest of the top 5 got the support they needed. We stopped huns and serbs from taking congress seats. We protected the other parties. We talked to them every day and worked closely with them. USWP became my favorite non-fed party by far and fionia one of my best friends in the game. At the end of every day, we reminded each other that we were going to recruit harder, campaign louder, and do everything we could to beat each other. That, is beautiful partisanship.

We should never lie to other parties. We should never use multies in other parties. We shouldn’t use traitorous spies to know what other parties leadership teams are talking about. We should tell them straight up what we’re going to do.

I could never have worked so closely with Fionia and done so much for ATO if we pretended we were allies in all ways. We knew we were competing, we had very clear lines about what we were willing to do to work together, and what we were not willing to do. We fought hard against each other during elections. If we weren’t honest about where we were going to compete, we could never have trusted each other about where we were going to work together. We would never have been friends if not for our amazing, relentless, and brutally honest partisanship.

Partisanship makes a strong top 5. A strong top 5 makes a strong America. I want to be honest with the rest of the top 5, I’m going to tell them exactly what I plan to do to beat them. I’m also going to tell them exactly what i’m prepared to do to work together and build America. Amazing things happen when parties stop trying to play dirty tricks.

What’s most revolting about Unity, as with so many things in erep history, is that a tiny minority of players have cheated, lied, and manipulated Unity rather than dealing in good faith. Unity weakens the top 5 for this very reason.



What I am going to do as a PP:

-Recruit newbs. I don’t know if the last few PPs made a point to message newbs themselves, but I certainly would.

-Write articles. We have a fed meeting every week, thats easily made into an article. Something awesome happens every week, thats a second article. 2 a week will not be hard.

-Post on the forum, and hang out on IRC. My activity level is already way above average.

-Run my own cabinet. I don’t want a Chief of Staff. Its not that I don’t trust anyone (I can think of several awesome feds who would make great chiefs of staff), its that I want to be on top of everything personally.

-Maintain a channel with the other top 5 PPs. This already exists somewhere I believe, if not, i’ll get it going again. We must talk with each other, communication is key, and makes a strong top 5.

-Read every single post on the forums. Except for the spam threads, I must draw a line somewhere.

-Run party meetings personally.



Stuff I’ve done lately:

Its all well and good to be an oldfag, but with oldfags, you gotta ask, what have you done, recently? I’m not trying to boast here, I’m just trying to provide some evidence for my argument that I’m the best option to lead the feds next month. I have not done a single one of these things without the help of other feds.

-Designed Retention. A couple months ago, under gnils term, I noticed that we have plenty of newbs around, plenty of jerbs, but they weren’t getting matched up. I set in place a procedure for messaging everyone who joins this party. We messaged them again when they joined the forum. We told them about IRC, the forums, and asked them if there is anything we can do to help them get a party job.

-Rose through the ranks to become a SHIELD Executive Officer. When I heard that SHIELD was having a rough start I PM’d crashthompson asking what I could do, and I told him I wanted to help make SHIELD the best damn MU ever to operate. He gave me the task of helping the newbs. I designed a google doc and a spreadsheet that tracks everyone in and out of SHIELD, and everyone who joins gets a welcome in game. I did well enough that crash made me XO in charge of personnel.

-I’ve run nearly all of the Fed Meetings on IRC for the last couple months. I believe I’ve missed a couple, but I love these things, I think they’re great for the party, and I’ve been point man in making them happen.



Some Awesome Feds:

CrashThompson has made SHIELD what it is, he is indispensible.

Eotrick, Petey Alazar, Clydeo, Tyler Buublar and others have been moving up the ranks of the feds fast. They’re hard working, taking on tasks that are a little on the mundane side but so very important to the operation of this party. These guys are amazing.

AlexJ1890 is always willing to take on some of the grunt work. This guy slaves away for this party, we all rely on him.

A bajillion other great feds who post on the forums, come to IRC, welcome Newbies to our party, post in the newbie intro threads, fight for SHIELD, labor in crashthompson’s SHIELD slave pits, vote p/h in every poll, watch their PMs in game for party and national news, you are all what make this party amazing.

I want to lead you, and I want you to show everyone just what you are capable of.
