Why Can't the Federalists Elect a President?

Editor’s Note: I’m not going to delve into the Federalist Leadership’s decision not to endorse Tenshibo for President. They made their decision. And after reading Jude Conner’s article, I’ve discovered that he’s said everything I want to say about the subject.

Why can’t the Federalists elect a President?

It’s a serious question, considering that they are the largest (and presumably most influential) party in the country. But yet, over the past 12 months, they have elected 1 President of the United States.

Let’s break it down:
USWP - Six
Evry, Pfeiffer, Inwegen, Vanek (x2) and Artela
AMP - Four
Israel Stevens (x2), Cerb, John Killah
NCP - One
Glove
Federalists - One
Fingerguns
We the People - Zero

This certainly isn’t for lack of qualified people. By every metric, the Federalists have the most people ready to be President. Looking at you Molly and Cromstar.
And it isn’t for lack of desire or drive either. Jefferson Locke ran a few months ago, Paul ran this month and it’s no secret that both Josh Frost and Duncan Crowe want the PotUS chair.

But one of the most common themes I heard while chatting with people about this month’s election was:
I love Paul Proteus, but I cannot stand the Federalists.
A ton of people were turned away from Paul. Not because of him (he’s awesome by the way), but because of the people (and the party) that were pushing him.

And I can tell where they are coming from. Since gaining the top spot, the Federalists have been rather insufferable. Cocky, obnoxious and a lot of the time, just plain mean. They start threads on their forum to poll how stupid other parties are, during the middle of a national crisis.

And now that they have the top spot, and have realized they can’t elect a President, they want to change the rules and to ensure that they are able to.

They are just as bad as the USWP was at the height of their power.

The only difference between the Feds and the USWP, is that the Feds haven’t actually accomplished anything.
They can’t win an outright majority in Congress like the USWP did.
They can’t dominate the national scene like the USWP did (and really, still does).
Even while being the most hated party in the game, the USWP still managed to consistently win the PotUS spot, because people respected them. You could not, and cannot argue with the USWP body of work. You can degrade their attitude, and their style. But not what they accomplished. The Feds don’t have that to fall back on.

The only thing the Feds have managed to do, is adopt the attitude of the USWP. One of superiority.
One of belittling others. One of their party above all else. Including country.

What happened to the little party that could? The one that started out as a 6th party. The one that produced the best Secretaries of Interior and Education. The one that cared about all people, not just Federalists.
The party that was a home for all disenfranchised people. The party that still had the mentality of a 6th, but the voting power of a 5th.

Was all of that thrown to the wayside in the quest to be #1?

What do you think? Why can’t the Federalists win the Presidency?
My answer is; attitude.

Leave your answer in the comments so we can debate it.
