tl;dr Tenshibo has won Unity elections, on the 5th vote Tenshibo

It looks to me like I'm down and out, and Tenshibo will be the next President of the eUS. There are a few things I want to say, if possible, so bear with me here.

First, I've always admired people who remain classy after they lose. There's a reason I admire them though, it's not as easy as it looks. I'm not sure if I'll be able to earn that same admiration but I'll try.

Next, Congrats to Tenshibo, who has won, AMP, WTP and USWP and thus, Unity. Tenshibo is a great candidate and I consider him a friend. I voted for him last month, and if I wasn't running I would have voted for him again this month. He'll do a great job, and I'm honored to have lost to him. Voting for him on the 5th won't be difficult.


Over dramatic? Naaaah

Being said, this election wasn't quite as clean as I would've liked it to be. There's a lot to say and I'm not the one to say it, I do however recomend you read up Hale's article to understand what happened. In the end though, it didn't change the outcome. There are, as always, a few disappointments and lessons to be learned, the fact that the aggregate of primary votes (from what I've been told at least) has me winning by a decent margin tells me that perhaps we should take a look at how we hold our unity elections. There was also a lot of mudslinging, and shit said about me due to my party or my cabinet. The hostility between Parties in this country and between any group of people is something that harms us more than any foreign threat. It needs to stop, and hopefully (though I doubt it) some people can take that away from this. In the end though, that's the same every election, ups and downs. I don't want this to be taken the wrong way, Tenshibo will be a great potus, we've been on the same page this entire election and I look forward to experiencing his term. America will do well with him at the helm.

I want to thank those who supported me. Saraht0ga was the best runningmate I've ever seen, also want to thank Frost for all the shit he did to help me get this campaign running, and Crom, who always deserves thanks, he's a great guy. And regardless of what anyone says, the Feds have proven to be one of the most loyal parties I've ever been in, thanks guys. I don't think I can list everyone else who deserves a mention, the list is too long. You guys were far better than I could have asked for. And I'm sorry, you guys did everything you could for me, and I feel like I let you down. If only I could've tried harder, done better, gotten just a few more votes...For that, guys, I'm sorry.
