Who are these citizens? Any citizens? Mayor?

Hawaii is not considered an occupied region to USA since they are originally a region of USA, can they start the resistance?

- how can a resistance war be end ?
- how many times resisters can declare a resistance war?

does resistance war need \"congress\" approval? or anyone with 150+ gold can start the war? how they count the number of soldier involved in resistance war? does MPP has an effect on resistance war? what happened if neighbouring country attacks the rebelled region?

I think any region should be able to start a rebelion. Would make the game more realistic and entertaining.

What about in the situation of Hawaii? All they want to take over is their state. So really, wouldn\'t they be defenders and the rest of America attackers? Does that make sense to give the rest of America a defense bonus when they don\'t live there?

Why can\'t citizens that oppose a rebellion join the defenders? Maybe some people don\'t want a civil war?

In any resistance movement, it\'s always the separatists that have the advantage. They\'re the ones that know the lands, the territory, etc etc. It would make far more sense if the rebels got the defensive bonus, especially considering that it will be one state vs. the rest of the country.

Then again, I of course have a biased point of view.

I agree with Platonic. But a very democratic land should grant a referendum for self-determination, and not going to crush in blood the indipendentists.

I\'d like to suggest a peaceful way to conduct this new \"independence\" feature. War is bad for both sides and I think that if the President of say the United States were willing to allow Hawaii its independence in an economical or political deal there should be a way to do so peacefully. eRepublik shouldn\'t be a completely war-driven sim, because the political side of the game is equally if not more important.

Maybe some prices should be with local currency instead of gold. I understand that you must make a profit but making ppl buy gold in every turn will kill this game fast.

I agree with Platonic, especially since the reason the occupied nation is occupied is because some larger super power took them over. If they were not given some sort of bonus, it really wouldn\'t make sense for them to rebel since the rebellion is not likely to succeed. They would be just flushing their gold down the toilet, but this game has lots of ways for people to do that already.
