India Albania deal and what it means to India for dummies
What we get.
30k cc rental money.
What we also get.
1. An agreement with an invader.
2. Sharing our region with the 5th country.
What does that mean?
Government's version
We get 30k cc money for an already lost land. As such we can't win the war against them so it's better to rent our region to them, it would also help us to improve our relationship with them and help them get congress. The money can be used for MPPs.
My Version
1. We cannot organize RWs and take back Gujarat during the period of rental agreement from Albania since the rental deal forbids it. If we do organize a RW and by chance win back our regions, our international reputation will go down spirally, as if it hasn't been bad offlate; And India would get rogue, untrustworthy and thief tags.
2. Chances of our acceptance into an alliance gets worsened owing to the govt.'s leanings and dealings with the former EDEN countries, who don't have an alliance currently and are probably planning to start a new alliance. This includes BiH and Albania.
3. We send out a wrong message to the international community that we are weak, and that any country could come, attack us, take our region and have deals in place to secure their region and we would happily accept. Further more our military strength becomes a matter of joke and laugh for other countries. And our honor which has already been reduced to cinders, fails to redeem.
4. Chances are we might get back a region or two from Croatia owing to the Govt.'s leaning towards their brothers. Quite similar to the way we got back AP, Karnataka, Gujarat and Kerala from Croatia in return of giving West Bengal and Bihar to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Those regions we get back might once again be ASed and taken over by some other "wiped off" nations who would have the same expectations, most likely someone whom Croatia/Albania/BiH/China want or with whom Croatia/Albania/BiH/China have a good relationship. It is after all a mere recurring cycle.
And probably a New Alliance/EDEN in making on Indian soil a.k.a. the future Balkan. Something I presume other alliances are already taking a note of.
5. We have to now deal with 5 countries on our soil(and still counting). 3 of whom are actually here owing to various deals done by Indian Government in past. Now we have a deal with 4th country in place.

6. Though 30k cc can be used to hire mercs and liberate regions, but the question is which region do we liberate? Without having a new deal if we go against a country and liberate a region we will end up dragging the war further. Because Croatia, BiH and Pakistan each hold 2 and more regions. The moment we win the RW, the country will propose NE against us and fight us back. That leaves us with Albania as the only options for organizing RW, since they hold 1 region. As of china, they are our Neighbors.
7. Chances are the 30k will have same effect as the 120k did when India signed a deal with Croatia. Not sure whether I would personally term the effect as a good one. Considering the country has 2.2 million cc and 2k golds, renting a region for 30k cc won't make any considerable difference.
What could have actually been done?
We could have put efforts into improving our already declining foreign affairs and relationship with the nations who belong to the Alliance we lean towards, and their allies and friends; rather than go back and forth with our anti/pro (ex)EDEN stance. Organizing a well structured Resistance War, getting in touch with the aides, MUs and countries willing to help in the battle, a properly structured military module, and winning back our region and honor.
Personal verdict: I am highly disappointed with the Albanian deal and have been ranting all over the place. I hope Indians wake up and step in before it is too late.

interesting stuff. India is in a tight spot with alliances for sure, but foreign affairs aside, more than 3 nations renting your land just doesn't sound like a good idea. Financially perhaps, but the long term effects of being both occupied and limited in foreign affairs decisions can cause more harm than good.

You have been in Government, you know this doesn't get done with the snap of the fingers. I have been pouring all my energy in improving our FA situation. But guess what... people have to want to talk to you back first. That's where we had to start.
Yes but you realize that having a rental deal in place prevents us from RWing and getting back our region?? And with all these deals, going back and forth in our views, being confused about what we want, etc. you expect alliances to heed us?

If you are unable to handle FA then please find someone adept enough to handle it..Who has good contact with CoT, Bg, etc. By the end of this month we are supposed to apply for CoT membership again, have you even started working on it? I don't think so considering we are rather focusing on improving our relationship with exEDEN countries....We have become an unpredictable, untrustworthy laughing stock right now...

Yes, There are 4 possible regions. All currently held by Croatia
So we are fighting RW in one of those regions right now ...

2. Explain me how it'll be easier to liberate regions from countries holding more than 1 regions and liberate region from a country holding a sole region.

yeah bro but running for CP is not the only thing. The country is governed by its people and not by the CP. This is the idea we all need to inculcate whether in game or in real life.
Just take the real India into consideration. Would you be happy if there weren't parties like AAP and activists like Anna Hazare? Everyone would silently accept what the govt. has been doing. There would be no opposition and just one dictatorial govt. and thus the unity and peace will prevail.. Is this what we want?
Yes, it might be a game but it's also a political simulation and a really good platform for us to know how things work in real life and to study human psychology.
Personally what I am in game is what I am in real life. I am quite vocal, I am associated with several NGOs and also with the youth wing of a political party. Rather than remaining silent If I see something wrong I'll tell it right on the face and this is the view majority of us lack whether in real life or in game. Something that everyone needs to have and not just the people running the country.
And lol No you haven't offended me or anything I play the game as a simulation of what I would do in real life or how I would do it or how I would react. Yes at times I do get pissed off at few people, but that's natural for me. And that's something I would have done in real life as well if something of similar magnitude was to take place in. It's more about understanding the human psychology of others and my own. haha chill I've nothing against you : )

is the deal on a monthly basis or is it a one time deal..?? did we get the cash or not?? if not when?? will we have a congress this month ??
the seriousness arises when plato ignites nationalistic feelings and lures you into spending real cash....
well skumar. If I am to believe what I read and I was told then the deal is one time deal and that it can be revoked by the next government or if they want it'll continue. But that doesn't change the fact that we lose the region for 1 month. As of cash I am not aware about it, there has been no article on that matter and to be honest i don't even know whther it has been paid, and if it has then who is holding it, and if not then when would we be getting it. I am as clueless as you are on the money matter. We might have congress and that would be if Croatia, BiH or Pakistan decide to return us back a region or we fight and win against them. At any case fighting would restart a war and considering our current situation/military/foreign affairs we would most likely lose our region again. So in my opinion the govt. is probably going to request croatia to return back a region for congress.

Long term friendships such as the one we enjoyed with EDEN never entirely go away, it is very hard to actively engaged in dislike with someone you have been calling brother for years.

We ARE weak. That's precisely why other nations feel comfortable doing this. It is everyone who calls themselves eIndian's fault for this. We should be recruiting people into the game. We still arent despite several half baked attempts to do so.

Depends. If it is used well it could have more effect. If it is squandered it won't.

I don't know from where you got this or you even read the article properly.
1. I pointed out if we organize RW inspite of having the deal. Looks like you are more interested in doing that. Sorry but EDEN countries might have been busy earlier but in current situation others will be more assured about it when they see us break a deal.

Please be more precise as to whom you are inferring here. Sorry but we had bulgarian friendship before but being a part of EDEN prevented us from having MPP with them.
Secondly we left EDEN and we tried joining CoT. And now we try to go back with mending our relationship with those countries we broke off with. I don't know how you can't see anything wrong in doing that.

I totally accept we are losing out on recruiting people. And I am unable to see any efforts being put into it except for a handful. But once again please read it properly and try to understand what is being conveyed. There is a difference between getting Airstriked by a country and then trying to fight them off by atleast attempting to organize a RW fighting for it with a strong effort, and getting airstriked by a country and before the war is over having a deal in place that prevents us from fighting back and kind of accepting defeat. Sorry but we have succeeded in beating croatia at several occasions in RWs. I don't believe that it's impossible.

I mean each and every sentence of it. When you do a mistake in past and keep repeating it in future, it's wrong. Sorry but all I see us do is repeat this recurring cycle of mistakes over and over again. The condition we are living now is something that has to do with past and sorry for the last time i don't want to hear you say why bring up past. Because we ought to learn from it. I'd like to say that again we ought to learn from it, rather than repeating it.

Sorry right now it's not the CC that India needs. Indian already has enough. It's military strength and population that we are not able to revive inspite of having money in our coffers.
