CHINA AND PAKISTAN .... SWEET OR BITTER
Saud maroof
The relations between Pakistan and China have been described by Pakistan's ambassador to China as
higher than the mountains, deeper than the oceans, stronger than steel, dearer
than eyesight, sweeter than honey, and so on.
RELATION :
Pakistan has a long and symbiotic relationship with China. The long-standing ties between the two countries have been mutually supportive. A close identity of views and mutual interests remain the hallmark of ties. The Chinese leadership has acknowledged Pakistan's steadfast support on key issues. Pakistan helped China in reestablishing formal ties with the West . China also has a consistent record of supporting Pakistan in regional issues. it implied that it would support Pakistan in the event of a war. Pakistan's military depends heavily on Chinese armaments, and joint projects of both economic and militaristic importance are ongoing. The People's Republic of China enjoys strong defense ties with Pakistan.[18] This relationship between two adjoining Asian countries is important in the world's geo-strategic alliances. The strong defense ties are primarily to counter regional enemies and of coarse western enemies .
WHAT PEOPLE BELIEVE:
According to a chineese writer
Pakistan may be “talking up the ‘China option' beyond where the Chinese are willing to go.” China, he reckons, will be reluctant to tilt too far towards what might look like an anti-India alliance”. Despite border disagreements, China wants to keep its relations in reasonable order.
MY UNDERSTANDING :
But at a time when Pakistan is under intense scrutiny for its role in fighting extremism and terrorism, the world would be watching with interest how China decides to deal with Pakistan. What is more, Pakistan's chronic instability and its failure, whether by design or incompetence, to suppress extremism make Pakistan as hard a partner for China to trust as for WEST . “Sweeter than honey” may be plenty sweet enough. these words may seam pinching but my advice to the government is to thinck about this matter politicaly not brotherly it is a fact that CHINA AND PAKISTAN are togeather since history but fuly trusting them can be deadly . It is not that we go to war with these old friends but it is that we stay elerted . keep our allience limmited .
Comments
See brother in the world every country has its own interest. I m talking about real world politics if China helps Pakistan it is China's interest in the region.
Ofcorse they hav benefits
buddy i have written this from both perspectives and i realy belive we should not watste our energy saving their bums every time
We have been enemies with China since the start of this game. Our objective was to establish a relationship with China which we have done. It makes strategic sense due to our geographic location as prior to this, we were surrounded by enemies.
As for trusting 100% no one in this game does that and part of the ministry of foreign affairs role is to safeguard our pakistans interest.
