The Choice is Yours
Nicky3Fingers
Hello once again people of eAustralia, I come at you today with both good news and bad news. It is coming around that time where we once again decide the Great Leader of our country, and even though the canidates are many, the choice is clear. But I will get to that a little later; right now I want us all to reflect on the past month that Tim_Holtz has shared with us all
Tim’s CP term seemed to have been stuck in stasis, sure he did what he could but at the end of the day there was no reason to make any “big moves” until all of this with CoT was taken care of. We also learned that it would take those MONTHS to decide on a ruling. I find this rather ridiculous but maybe I don’t quite understand the depth of it all. So all we could do was pick and choose our fights and not let the enemy have their way with us entirely. For what he had on the table it was overall as productive a term that he could have had.
Grade: 7.25/10
Now the question is who will be our next CP? Will it be the relatively unknown dCP of Xavier Griffith’s term? Let us all take a moment here to remember how we all got into this mess in the first place shall we? Will she also follow the same road with hiring the same DoFA team etc.? If she does I don’t think it will end well, we are still awaiting her cabinet lists. Prepare the torches my friends.
Next on the list is dear old MC, as I am sure you all know he ran for CP last term and lost by a slim majority, well he is back and he seems to have ate his Wheaties, he is making a much stronger showing than last term, I disagree with a lot of his politics mostly that we should just forget about CoT ad look for other alliances, one of them being eChina (congress voted down this this very same proposal) it seems the senators of eAustralia don’t agree with him either.
EDIT: NO MC IN THE RACE
This of course leaves Draim, I have not had the pleasure of personally speaking to him but let me tell you what I have. I have seen him comment numerous times on the forums, as both a citizen as well as the Senate speaker. He has proven that he has poise as well as experience which are two things which we desperately need. Last election my pick won, and I hope that I have the pleasure of messaging Draim congratulations as well. These are the reasons that I voted to have the coalition back him, and these are the reason I will be voting for him

Actually MC isn't on the ballot since you can't nominate anymore.
ohhhh....let me just sit her and wallow in the shame >__> why didnt he end up running?
No idea. I just know you can't nominate candidates anymore. My buttons disappeared today so I assume no one else can either
Game Mechanics now prevent him from entering, I can't imagine he is in a good mood about it or when he knows for sure.
so much for my cabinet position ;P
How much of the campaigns did you read?
Disappointing for MC. We've had our fair share of blues but as someone who has had to deal with the wrath of game mechanics I know exactly how he must be feeling. Nonetheless such is the game we endure
Nicky did you just blame XG for the present mess we're in? He inherited it.
No I didn't mean it that way Larni I know the. Treaty wasn't his creation
oh ok didn't think you did since you seem to be above board but had to check. 🙂
I don't think I'd ever say Molly was "relatively unknown" + she released quite a few articles as dCP. Just look for them in her newspaper.
I'm going with 3 ppl one of which posted on forums the other 2 messages me..when it came to Tim/MC\Draim whether you like them or not you would have a hard time finding a player who doesn't know them
It wasnt XG's cabinet but rather it was his predecessor who setup the treaty that led to our demise.
And to quote somebody some here seem to think can be trusted and is in our side....hahaha..."it was shit when it was drawn up and signed" ... Wonder who did that? Wasn't me.
We will try not to talk about that shameful & pathetic time : (
once again people find it easier to blame someone than accept we are just in a shitty position, its always easier to blame the old guy leaving or guy from 3 months ago or whatever. The treaty is not the issue, its the fact we are in a crap position and the last 6-9 months are the result of that, no treaty or whatever made a massive impact on that
when are people going to wake up and realise this?
People do Tim
And yes, you are right our situation is not down to the treaty by itself, People know that too
