{CPF} Update: January 26

Day 1,894, 18:38 Published in Canada Canada by Funky 24

Fellow Mooseheads!

Congress elections are over and the CPF is pleased to announce a 100% election rate for our Congressional lineup! I for one look forward to topping that figure next month for sure!

The party thanks all those who voted for our team and we congratulate our 13 Congress members for this month. Loyalty, creativity, activity and belief in party ideology is what makes a great CPF Congress member. That, and a few party elites monitoring you activity from a smoky backroom. You know, accountability.

This month we have some new faces such as Gunny165 and Little Tony joining the team, as well as a hearty contingent of veterans to lead the way. The CPF is interested in beneficial relationships with our parties in order to progress eCanada along to a more politically sustainable, dynamic and prosperous Republik. This month, our Congress team will continue the search for full membership in an alliance for eCanada, monitoring our fiscal status and keeping bad roleplaying in the political wilderness. Best of luck to all.

Presidential elections

Tired of Rylde losing us every war we're in? Don't feel like joining up with an alliance that consists of two countries weaker than even we are? Feel like having an extra five gold?!

Then maybe YOU should run for Country President!

All candidates seeking the CPF's nomination are expected to publicly announce their Candidacy for it them to qualify for the CPF's party-wide vote on who should be our Candidate. Further questions on procedure quoted here from Auk Rest's PP candidacy article:

Country President:

-Interest must be expressed to the Party President or publicly in the form of a newspaper article or other means by the 29th for members, the 30th for nonmembers
-Primary held on the 29th to determine whether or not the CPF will endorse one of its own or another candidate
-Full Primary held on the 30th if we vote for another party’s candidate in the prior primary
-Primary Winner becomes official nominee.
-Like the Party President elections, a second runoff vote will occur if no candidate secures a majority
-Voting to not endorse any candidate and to have a free vote will be an option

I always prefered arbitrarily selecting our CP nominee, but you make a few promises about being democratic and people all of a sudden want me to listen to them. Pfft. Word of advice: I suggest messaging the membership with a campaign letter if you want the party to know what you offer for progressively changing eCanada, such as new ideas, plans and your personal character as a player here.

Rylde is allowed as well. You are welcome.

The CPF is a party that welcomes all who care about a responsible, accountable and positive government to our halls. There are many opportunities available for newer players, so please, consider joining us!
