eFinland and WP Army (in Spanish and English)

This is my first article in eArgentina, and I thought I'd tell a short story about Finland to all my friends here. English version in the end. Thanks for the translation H. Bouchard!


SPANISH:

Este es mi primer articulo en Argentina, y pensé en contarles una pequeña historia para todos mis amigos de acá.



Yo soy de Wanhat Parrat Army (viejos barbudos), una MU empezada por jugadores de +30, algunos anos atrás . Somos ahora el partido y la MU mas grande de Finlandia, pero como el país esta devastado por las actividades guerreras especialmente Polacas nos hemos esparcido por mejores bonos.

Hay un numero de miembros de WPA en Argentina y espero que nos acepten como amigos. Nosotro no votamos ni participamos de ninguna manera en política a no ser que nos necesiten para un anti-PTO, en cuyo caso lucharemos ferozmente como lo hicimos en eUSA.

Pero vos sabes que es Finlandia?



Finlandia es un lugar cercano a Russia del norte, al lado de nuestros queridos amigos de Suecia (con los cuales hacemos muchos chistes acerca de eso). Los Suecos son nuestro mejores amigos en eRe !



Hay un montón de influencia Rusa en nuestra capital, Helsinski. Especialmente en la arquitectura. Pero realmente si queres encontrar gente Rusa tendrás mas posibilidades de hacerlos mas al norte en Laplan (como turistas claro). Esta es la tierra donde el verdadero Papa Noel vive. No, el no vive en el Polo Norte !



En Lapland (Laponia), Papa Noel tiene su propia ciudad. Si deseas podes mandarle una carta a su propia oficina postal (solo mandame un mensaje in game y te dire como). Hay solamente cerca de 100.000 personas viviendo en Lapland, a pesar de que cubre cerca de la mitad de Finlandia.



La mayor parte de Lapland esta habitado por renos.



Y por supuesto un montón de turistas, ademas de los rusos que yo mencione ,también japoneses, quienes creen que pueden poblar el mundo con ninos mágicos en tanto los conciban bajo la Aurora Boreal, las luces del norte, las luces mágicas del cielo norte.





Finlandia es mejor conocida por la mezcla de bosques y lagos. Nosotros tenemos cerca del 50 % de nuestra tierra cubierta por bosques, y la zona sur es una mezcla de lagos, lagos y mas lagos. Mas de 10.000 lagos en un pequeño país de 5 millones de habitantes.



Con 5 millones de habitantes poblando un área que es cercana al 11 % de Argentina, tenemos casi la misma densidad de población. Pero con un paisaje diferente. Mucha gente tiene cabañas de verano en los lagos y disfruta de la naturaleza salvaje. Una diferente clase de naturaleza, por que es solo paz, quietud, quizás hasta aburrido para alguno.



u puedes pensar que Finlandia es un lugar frio, pero durante el verano, no tenemos oscuridad. Es un verano con luz de día durante todo el día.
Eso significa que nunca es demasiado caliente, pero tampoco es muy frio. Es perfecto para nadar en la medianoche.



No, en serio, esto es medianoche.



Finlandia no tiene mucha historia. Si tenemos algunos castillos del ano 1000 en adelante, pero es casi todo.



Lo que Finlandia es famosa por, al menos basado en lo que los extranjeros me han dicho son las estaciones. Hay una clara distincion entre Primavera, Verano, Otono e Invierno. Cada uno tiene su favorita, pero a mi me gusta el Otono, con todos los colores, las sendas para caminar y hacer trekking y todo lo que tiene para ofrecer.



inlandia es también loca por los deportes. Hockey sobre hielo es nuestro deporte nacional, un poco como su fútbol, allí es cuando todo el mundo va a los bares y pasa tiempo con amigos para alentar a sus equipos. O para hinchar en contra de Suecia (por diversión claro). In eRe Suecia es nuestro único aliado, en una alianza llamada Asgard. Nosotros somos una alianza neutral pero esperamos tener siempre MPP con Argentina.



Algunos de ustedes quizas conozcan Finlandia por las carreras de autos como la formula 1. Pero que mas podes hacer cuando tenes cientos de kilómetros de caminos y ningún policía alrededor tuyo !



De cualquier forma, nosotros estamos ahora en Argentina para ayudarlos. Nos gustan los bonus, y pelearemos por sus (y nuestros) bonos !. Y si en algún punto ustedes necesitan otro tipo de ayuda, seremos definitivamente la primer nación que acuda en su ayuda. Yo personalmente espero que Finalndia y Argentina sean amigos para siempre.



Dejame saber a mi o a la MU WPA si necesitas ayuda en cualquier pelea. WPA es la MU mas grande de Finalndia, y depende de sus bonos para armar a nuestros guerreros. Nuestras fabricas Q7 son administradas por un numero de personas incluyendo a nuestro capitán Feuerstrahl (por favor mandale un pedido a el si queres ver alguna orden en nuestro muro).

Por lo que podes ver, nuestra población sigue creciendo. Todos seremos Wanha (viejos) en algún momento. Nosotros somos extremadamente liberales en el sentido que nuestro uníco requerimiento a nuestro partido o MU es tener 30 anos en la vida real.

I am from Wanhat Parrat Army (Old Beards), a MU started by players of age 30+, a few years ago. We are now the biggest party and MU in eFinland, but as the country is devastated by the war activities mostly by Poland we have spread around for better bonuses.

There are now increasing number of WPA people in Argentina, and I hope you accept us as friends. We do not vote or otherwise participate in politics unless you need us for anti-PTO, in which case we fight fiercely like we did for example in eUSA.

But do you know what is Finland?



Finland is a place close to northern Russia, next to our dear friends in Sweden (which we make a lot of jokes about). The Swedes are our best friends in eRe!



There is a lot of Russian influence in our capital, Helsinki. Especially in architecture. But actually, if you want to meet Russian people you are more likely to meet them up north in Lapland (as tourists of course). This is the land where really really Santa Claus lives. No, he does not live in North Pole!



In Lapland, Santa Claus has a city of his own. If you wish you can order a letter from Santa from his own postal office (just send me an ingame message and I will tell you how). There are only about 100.000 people living in Lapland, even though it covers about half of the land in Finland.



Most of the Lapland is populated by reindeer.



And of course a lot of tourists, besides the Russians I mentioned, also Japanese, who think they can populate the world with magic children as long as they do that under the Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights, the magic lights of northern sky.





Finland is best known for a mix of forests and lakes. We have about 50% of our land covered by forests, and the southern area is a mix of lakes, lakes, and just more lakes. More than 10.000 lakes in a small country of only 5 million people.



With 5 million people populating an area which is about 11% of Argentina, we have about the same population density. But with a bit different landscape. Many of the people have summer cabins by the lakes, and enjoy the wilderness. A bit different kind of wilderness, because it is just peaceful, quiet, maybe even boring to some.



You could think Finland is a cold place, but during summer, we do not have any darkness. It is daylight summer all day around. That means it is never really hot, but it never gets very cold either. Just perfect for midnight swim.



No seriously, this is midnight.



Finland does not have much of a history. We do have some castles from post 1000 year period, but that is pretty much it.



What Finland is more famous for, at least based on the things foreign people have told me is the seasons. There is a clear distinction between Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Everyone has their favourite, but I like Autumn, with all the colours and hiking trips and so on.



Finland is also crazy about sports. Icehockey might be the national sport, a bit like your football maybe, that is when everyone goes to bars and spends time with friends to cheer for their own local team. Or just against Sweden (for fun ofcourse). In eRe Sweden is our only ally, in an alliance called Asgard. We are neutral alliance but hopefully always with MPP with Argentina.



Some of you might also know Finland from car racing like Formula One. What else do you do when you have hundreds of kilometers of road without any police around you!



Anyways, we are now here in Argentina to help you out. We like the bonuses, and fight for your (and our) bonuses. And if at any point you need any other help, we are definitely the first nation to come for help. I personally hope eFinland and eArgentina will be friends forever.

As you can see, our population keeps on growing. Everyone will be "Wanha" i.e old at some point. We are extremely liberal in the sense that only requirement in our party and army is age of 30 years in real life.
