Dear citizens

As you are well aware of my periodically reporting back to you to keep all citizens well informed of your governments doings and plans.
Many have made comments about the economy where you are worried about the well being of Iran’s state therefore allow me to explain as to what has been happening and what I have been doing.

The economy has 2 parts that has to be paid attention to and both of these are just as important and must be taken care of simultaneously. We have to 1) take care of our international value of our currency and 2) the economical situation internally.

1) As you all can see as of today we have 1123 Gold in our treasury. This simple upraise in our treasury has increased the value of our currency. Our currency now is in par with the strongest economy in Erepublik which is Sweden. The value of our currency is almost equal to them and hence our Gold is more valuable than ever. In the international market, 1 Gold is worth about 15 IRR now.
If we keep the value of our currency (and Gold) high the foreign countries cannot flood us with their goods cheaply and convert IRR back to gold to take out of Iran and hence this will eventually fix the problem of other countries using Iran as a dumping location of their goods.

2) The internal economical problem we have is 2 folds by its self. I) is the unemployment rate in Iran and II) is having products which cannot be afforded by our citizens. Both these problems go hand in hand.
To solve the unemployment I have asked the owners of few companies to send out job proposals to as many citizens who have posted their CV (resume) and already we have gone from 50% unemployment down to 36%.
However you will notice that our population as of tonight is 572 and we have 366 citizens employed and working but we only have 100 people whom have posted their CV (resume) and out of the 100 who have their CV (resume) posted about 20 already have jobs and are working.
That means there are about 120 people who have not. Now they may be inactive members or they don’t know how to post their CV (resume).
Please contact the minister of Economy, or the company owners, or your Party presidents if you need help to post your CV (resume).
To solve the problem of having products which the citizens can’t afford we have to tackle the problem by companies giving a better wage or reducing their prices.
I as a president cannot (nor do I want to) enforce a price for our products but you will see that as more our population is hired the problem of purchase power will automatically adjust itself too.

3) The ministers whom have been chosen are as follows:

As of now I do not have a minister of foreign affairs because all the foreign countries are contacting me directly and within few days we will be opening embassies in more than 10 other countries (I am waiting for Admins to get back to me). But as soon as embassies are established we will have a minister of foreign affairs too.
All ministers will receive a 4 IRR a day salary which will be paid until 1st of May (end of my presidency).

4) As stated before the Government will still pay for all citizens to buy good quality weapons and moving tickets. Many citizens have contacted me for that money but please as of now contact “Red Army” for receiving money. Money will be given to our ministers to distribute. The reason I am doing this is to keep the work of the government as open and as transparent as possible.
