[SBR4CP] Because 25 days of war is better than 30 days of inactivity

Day 1,774, 14:21 Published in Canada Ireland by Simon Boucher-Ruest

As some of you know, I have set motion toward my retirement from the eWorld. I intend on going out with a bang on October 30th. So you might be wondering “Why would that dumb*ss run for CP?” And I wouldn’t hold that against you. Instead, I reply by saying that I will not spend my last month of eLife without fighting gloriously for Canada and without helping our REAL allies.

Recently, MDP and The Coalition have been torn apart by the other parties for everything that has happened in eCanada that is bad. Admittedly, some of our methods were harsh, yet we now live in a country where political activity and public speaking is becoming more common. I intend to give eCanada the best that I am able to provide, and I hope to not leave my party, which will be going to Venerable, in a bad state. Our last nomination did not go according to plan, and I hope to fix matters myself.

I won’t promise better funding for our Military Units, since I do not control the economy. I cannot promise to get production bonuses, since our country is getting weaker on a weekly basis, and that would be currently unachievable.

However, here’s what I can give you:

1) True Patriot battles:

For those of you who know me, you know I’m not the kind of person to sit back and wait for things to happen. I will not let true brothers such as Portugal, Ireland, Germany and Netherlands get pushed around, and even wiped without doing something. When Canada was under attack from both Poland and Spain during Rylde’s term, those countries were of great help to us, and it is more than time to return the favour.

2) Activity: Even though I have been less vocal recently doesn’t mean that I haven’t been active. I can guarantee my presence will not fade as the term slowly goes by. I will remain active throughout all of my 25 days at the helm.

3) Effort: I cannot guarantee I will succeed, since this would be my first term as CP. I can’t guarantee we won’t get wiped as a result of getting involved in the wars. But let’s face it, with the current economy, losing our few bonuses wouldn’t really hurt. However, sure thing is I’ll try as hard as I can to get eCanada in a better state than it is right now, and leave it that way when it’s time for me to lose the big chair.

Until next time... Peace

Simon Boucher-Ruest,
CP Hopeful
