The two CP candidates and what they stand for

Before speaking about anything else, I would like to provide you with the knowledge and therefore power of the following quote by Ronald Reagan:

"Surround yourself with the best people you can find, delegate authority, and don't interfere as long as the policy you've decided upon is being carried out."

Nowadays the eNetherlands community is divided, one side is sharing their flags with Tonie112, the other side is sharpening their knives on ElGorro’s grinding stone. What should be better for the Dutch community?

There seems to be a rule in governing in real life. The state makes a whole set of laws and starts up a series of organizations, after a while the state needs to hire too many people to ensure that stated laws are lived after, that the state decides to slim down. At that moment the state may also decide to close down certain programs, or to privatize them. This mostly happens after a recession happened.

ElGorro stands for more bureaucracy and an increase in governmental programs, such as Taskforce Coaching and a quality label for newspapers. This will increase the amount of pressure put on our ministers, making the minister role a role that is less wanted role for the already low amount of players who are active in the eDutch community. Nonetheless this could prove a strong addition for the eDutch community, for newer players may stick around longer.

Tonie112 on the other hand wishes to remove or in some way change many of the laws that have been set up by earlier governments, most notably the budget laws. Also he has some sort of coaching plan, because so little information is given, it looks like it will be a sort of new ministry, with new rules, so more bureaucracy.

Currently our eDutch community is still in the making, so many programs are not running smoothly as they could. Tonie112 ideas may be good to some extend, but this is not the time for them. The government is looking at a 40% increase in production bonuses, this will result in more money for the treasury.

Also as stated in the quote at the beginning of the article, there is no need for change since there is nothing broken. When reading the law closely one might notice the following:

2. The total budget is allocated as follows: 20.000 NLG is reserved for two Mutual Protection Pacts. The remaining income is allocated through percentages. The Ministry of Defense receives 50%, or at least 30.000 NLG, for funding of the armed forces and for building stocks. The other 50% is distributed over the various government programs, MPP's and other investments. (Dutch Lawbook, III Government, Article 5)

There are two artificial numbers in this piece of text, neither of them are limiting the MoD in getting more money. It only states in the event of the eDutch state only getting 50.000NLG in a term, all will go to the MoD, two mutual protection pacts will be sealed and 30.000NLG of stock will be build up.

If a law is not broken and not limiting future Governing one should not change the law. This will only create more complexity.

Past and future eUNL

The eUNL was the best time of my e-life. What I enjoyed the most was the community, rich in diversity of all kind like experience and origin for example. On e-world scale the eUNL was really important, respected and had a strong army.

Creating a new eUNL would be great, but very difficult to achieve. A very large majority of the eBE and eNL citizens have to approve and support this so this can have a chance to succeed. Therefore a common, detailed and realistic plan should be created to convince the citizens. The effort will be huge but the result will be worth it.

MU performances over DDay!

Recently, i joined the military unit 'Alpha Unit'. And had been getting very interested in the politics of our countries military units, even if at the moment it is very dead with only really one active private unit.

I found out that on the military unit top rank page, which can be found here you can view the total opponents defeated the previous day by your military unit as well as the top 5 in your country.

Finding it very interesting i decided to record a few days, to compare stats. I also happened to record stats over the events of DDay (the liberation of Eastern Netherlands from Polish rule)
Here are some of my results:
28th/12/2011 -
1. eNL Airforce - Killed 1824 opponents
2. Krijgsmacht - Killed 1046 opponents
3. Alpha Unit - Killed 911 opponents.

1st/1/2012 -
1. eNL Airforce - Killed 1591 opponents
2. Krijgsmacht - Killed 1315 opponents
3. Alpha Unit - Killed 1108 opponents

2nd/1/2012 - (DDay)
1. eNL Airforce - Killed 5079 opponents
2. Krijgsmacht - Killed 1793 opponents
3. Alpha Unit - Killed 1389 opponents
