Dejaeghere on track for 11th CrossCup

Day 1,433, 11:00 Published in Belgium Belgium by Cooke4444
Finally the cross-country season begins. Probably a very entertaining one, especially in the men's races, now Jeroen D'hoedt has an injury.

The CrossCup started in Gent with the Relays. This means that there are three persons/team, each with a different length of track. In the women's race, DCLA 1 had a small lead on Roeselare before the last change of runner, but Dejaeghere closed the gap on Schenkel and took already a lead in the tavle on her rivals Sigrid Vandenbempt (DCLA) and Selien de Schrijder (Racing Gent).

The men's race was similar to the women's, DCLA on front but this time Krijn van Koolwijk was beaten in the sprint by Ethiopian Tasame. As Tasame isn't qualified for the table (only Belgians may participate), VAC took lots of points from the Belgian DCLA team with Kim Ruell and Krijn van Koolwijk.

Next race is in Mol at 6/11.
