Europe Today (Day 1,412) & Upcoming Articles

Day 1,412, 02:31 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by chasaj

The Illuminator

It is Sunday, so that means it is again time for observing Europe, as well as generally disliking Slovenia! I'm feeling particularly proud of Switzerland today, for no reason, so here is a short tribute:

Mountains, Switzerland, joy, yay, hooray, because I feel like it, even though my grandparents lived in Switzerland not I, and I've never actually been there, whoopdeedoo, pride.

That was exciting!

Europe Today

If you want to see how things have changed since last week, look here! 🙂

United Kingdom and Ireland
Also: Canada
Canada is still in Scotland, Northwest of England, and Southeast of England. That's less than before, but still pretty remarkable. Ireland seems to be happy with Wales and Northern Ireland right now.

Spain and Portugal
Also: Brazil and United States
Spain only has one region left, and it looks like the US will be taking it any time soon now. Really only one word can describe this Terra crusade against Spain... PAYBACK.
Venezuela, way off in South America, is split between Portugal and Columbia. Portugal, I think, is in a pretty good position right now. They can plunder all they want, but really aren't in any immediate danger from anyone.

France and Poland
Again, nothing has changed. At all.

...

Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia
Good news for Switzerland (sort of, at least): The Slovenian's resources in our land have been cut off! So they still have the ability to bully us but really there is no gain for them. Meanwhile, if we can get Slovenia out of Switzerland and Croatia get them out of Italy, we'll be free! Unless Poland decided to attack, but that's probably a whole 'nother story. Switzerland has lost Aosta Valley. I'm not sure what was going on there, there was no government information given out regarding that*.
Serbia is again creeping into Croatia, which could be very bad for us as it means less fighters are going to our battles. But have hope!

Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Turkey, Macedonia, and Greece

A lot of countries in this area! Let's go through them with bullets:
-Belarus has a few of their regions, but Russia also still has a couple.
-Ukraine is split between Bulgaria, Turkey, and Ukraine.
-Turkey has parts of Russia, Ukraine, and R.o. Moldova.
-Hungary has most of Romania's regions.
-Bosnia and Herzegovina has all of their original regions (whoa!), is attacking Montenegro (which has pretty much failed, but what?!?!), and has one of Serbia's regions (surely you must be lying?!?).
-Serbia has had regions taken from them by Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina, but is taking Croatian regions.
-Macedonia, yet again, has almost completely conquered Greece. Greece does, however, still have a few regions and has a colony in Egypt.

Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Belgium, and Austria
This area is pretty boring right now, besides the Netherlands, which is again being invaded by Poland. The rest of the countries either have a few of other peoples' territories and are boring (Slovakia), are completely conquered and are boring (Czech Republic and Germany), or without war and completely and utterly boring (Belgium, Austria).

Boooooriiiing.

Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Finland
Norway has only one region right now, but RW's are constant. Finland is again split between Estonia and Finland, and still the rest of ABC is boring. If Denmark was a little bit more south, I would have included it in the last picture and placed it in the "without war and completely and utterly boring" section, because that's exactly what they are.

Conclusion

Well, Europe is calming down a little, it seems. Or maybe I'm just crazy. Things for Switzerland are definitely going to improve, now that the resources are cut off for Slovenia. Let's keep hoping!

Before I go, though, there is one more announcement:

Upcoming Articles
I have one very important article coming on October 4th, in addition to regular Europe Today articles. This article is about (you guessed it) presidential elections. In it will be information you should know before voting on the fifth for either Borgogian (running under the SNC and supported by the SRC) or Luka Tomasevic Tomas (running under the SFP). ALSO: Swiss survey results and part 2 of JNArno's interview: questions asked by you, the people! Make sure you check in soon!

Now I'm done! Wellll.

Thanks for reading! Please vote and subscribe!
Hail Switzerland! Hail EDEN! Hail FREEDOM!
