Europe Today (Day 1,409): Midweek Edition

Day 1,409, 18:01 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by chasaj

The Illuminator

You may be wondering, what is this doing here? On a Thursday? Well I've decided that weekly updates aren't very informative as too much happens in one week. Here is the first midweek edition of Europe Today.

Europe Today: Day 1,409

United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands, and Belgium
Also: Canada
Well, Canada definitely is again attacking the UK. Right now, they've conquered Scotland, North East of England, North West of England, and the West Midlands, though they're attacking the South East of England right now. Ireland has Northern Ireland and Wales, and doesn't appear to be going for anything else at least right now. The Netherlands has been kicked out of the island, and the UK has even taken their own Southern Netherlands. Also, Poland took one of the Netherlands's regions again, Eastern Netherlands. Belgium is so boring right now I won't even keep talking about it.

Spain, Portugal
Also: United States, Brazil, Venezuela
Like said in my last Europe Today article, Spain is receiving some major payback now from not only the US, but now Brazil, too. Not seen in the picture, the US is now going from Catalonia and Brazil is going for Valencian Community. Portugal is busy still in Venezuela.

France, Poland
Well, France hasn't really made much progress since Sunday, but the resistance wars still continue.

Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, and Montenegro
Croatia is definitely helping get Slovenia out of the Italian peninsula. Slovenia has been completely kicked out of it and is now just in Northern Italy. It looks like they're pretty much indirectly and unofficially at war with Slovenia. It goes like this: Make Italy win RW's, take region from Italy. This, I think, as well as huge amounts of EDEN/Terra support will ultimately lead to our freedom. Once they get Lombardy and Trentino-South Tyrol, the borders will be closed off (assuming Slovenia doesn't take regions back). Then when we get them out, they'll be out for good! Let's hope it works. I think, but I'm not 100% sure, that Switzerland has another agreement with Italy to keep Aosta Valley in good hands.

Also, here is a song that perfectly explains my feelings towards eSlovenia. 😉
(I don't mean eSlovenians, just eSlovenia as a whole. I don't want to insult anyone.)

Germany, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, and Czech Republic
Poland again has all of Germany in their power. Not much to say about that. Slovakia also has all of Czech Republic, still. Austria is still pretty boring (which is really good for a small nation, if there is nothing going on there is nothing bad going on).

Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania

Norway has a few regions and is trying to get more of their's. Finland is split between Finland and Estonia. The rest of ABC isn't seeing much action.

Belarus, Ukraine, Romania, Hungary, R.o. Moldova, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Turkey
Belarus is still partially conquered by Russia. Bulgaria and Turkey have most of Ukraine, while Turkey also has parts of the Republic of Moldova. Hungary still has parts of Romania while Bulgaria has Dobrogea of Romania and Southern Serbia of Serbia. Even Bosnia and Herzegovina almost has all of it's regions. Serbia is looking particularly small these days... Macedonia has most of Greece again. There'll be an edit later with more information in this area.

Conclusion

Great things are to come soon for Switzerland, it seems! As long as things continue like this, things will be pretty good. ONE is taking some big hits in Serbia and Spain (though Macedonia is again prevailing in Greece) Poland has taken back the German territories but has not yet taken France back. And the UK is in a world of hurt. Let's see what happens... next Sunday! See you then!
