Europe Today (Day 1,405) & Anti-Slovenia Rant

Day 1,405, 01:25 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by chasaj

The Illuminator

Welcome to The Illuminator! I've been wanting to post something about my interpretation of what's going on in the world for a while, so here is a new segment called "Europe Today". There are many other people who write articles like this, but recently there haven't been any that I particularly liked, or ones that are active anymore. So here is Europe Today:

Europe Today

The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Ireland, and Belgium
It seems as though The Netherlands, who recently were freed from the Polish bullies, have joined the destroy-the-UK party with Canada and Ireland. They've conquered the East of England and are still plunging further into the country. Canada is again on the offensive side and is attacking Southwest England. Ireland doesn't seem to be doing anything, at the moment. Belgium is less exciting, militarily; they aren't involved in any wars directly, but they are sending troops to help Venezuela against Columbia and Portugal.

France and Poland

France is finally gaining many regions back from Poland. I'm hoping this is a big sign of the fall of Poland!

Switzerland, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, and Montenegro

Many things have been happening lately in and around the Italian Peninsula. Montenegro has conquered Apulia (how cute). The Italian-Croatian war thing has me a bit confused, but Croatia doesn't look like it wants to leave. Northern Italy, meanwhile, continues to be ravaged by the Slovenians.

Oh, Slovenia.

I've never really been fond of eSlovenia. When I joined, they had already conquered all of Switzerland except for Romandie, which was owned by Macedonia. Now, though, I really don't like eSlovenia. A few weeks ago, we were granted Romandie for awhile. When that happened, I definitely liked Slovenia more for letting us have one of our regions. Looking back on that, I think I might have been wrong in the head. Why should we have to have another country "let" us have one of our own regions? There was a congress deal recently that didn't work out. The president of Slovenia wanted to let us have one, and many Swiss of course were for that deal. I think it's a bit ridiculous, though. Again, why should a foreign ruler have to "LET" us have a congress by "LETTING" us have one of our regions, when we rightfully should own all four of them? It's insane! I am pretty annoyed about the situation we're in. Well, I was until there was finally some sort of operation. It is with great pleasure that I can now link you to President JNArno's article regarding Operation Moskito! Hopefully, though, we can do more than just annoy Slovenia with the help of EDEN. 😉

Well, that was my Slovenia rant. If any eSlovenians are reading this (except for those who fight for Switzerland, you guys rock!), I hope that rant has annoyed you sufficiently. Why shouldn't Operation Moskito apply to the media, too? 😉

Germany, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Denmark, Czech Republic, and Hungary

Germany has also been taking chunks back of it's country from Poland. It had more regions awhile ago, but hopefully they will gain all of them back soon. The Czech Republic has been completely conquered by Slovakia, which is old news. Austria and Denmark are both with out military action; all of the news in both countries is about congress elections. Hungary is attacking Romania is seems, but really my knowledge of Eastern Europe is limited so I couldn't tell you more.

---

Portugal and Spain

Portugal, lately, has been busy with the invasion of Venezuela. There isn't much action for them waiting back at Europe, besides congress elections. Spain couldn't say the same. They are receiving a little payback from the USA. Spain must not be happy about that...

---

Other Europe

Norway is going to have a congress, woohoo! Sweden still has a few of their regions, though. Finland has most of it's regions again, but Estonia still has several of them. Belarus has liberated some of it's regions; congratulations to them. Turkey and Bulgaria still seem to be bullying Ukraine, but I really don't have a clue what's going on there. Serbia is once again dominating everything it can, and Macedonia has returned to it's favorite hobby, taking over Greece. Latvia and Lithuania look pretty boring at the moment. But again, my knowledge of all of these areas is limited.

---

Conclusion

There's a lot going on in Europe right now! Besides Portugal, every European country currently is confined to Europe. When you put so many powerful countries in such a small place, it's bound to explode; and that it has.

You can expect a new Europe Today in exactly one week. See you then!

P.S. Was the misspelling of "Mosquito" intentional? I couldn't let that pass, being an honors English student. ;P "K"s do add a touch of flare to everything, though. eRepubli'K'. Mos'K'ito. Pretty inKtense.
