Interview with Presidential Candidate Paul Proteus

Today, I get the extreme pleasure of bringing you this wondering interview with Paul Proteus, one of the eUS' best citizens and my projected front runner for the September 2011 POTUS elections. I look forward to hearing what you all have to say about Paul's answers, and I wish him luck this coming election season.

For the record, why are you running for the office of President of the United States?

I am running for two reasons, one, running for political office is one of my favoirte parts of the game and two I think I could run the country as well as anyone else and would love the chance

What do you feel you have to offer to the American people that no other candidates have?

Well I think I have a different set of experiences in this game then my opponents and a unique view on how the game is played.

Are you thinking this is a one-term deal or should we expect multiple terms from you if elected?

I doubt I would run for reelection, variation is good and there is no way in hell I would have the energy left for a second consecutive term 😁

What policies/agenda are you looking to get done in your first term if elected?

Well, I'd like to work on straightening out our current foreign affairs situation, especially as Cerb is tentatively focusing on Spain and help out more with our allies in Terra, I'd like to find ways to involve new players and finally get the ambassador program running at it's full potential. Amongst other things 🙂

How do you feel this new Congress has started it's term off?

Ehh, Congress will be congress, and for congress standards they have had a good start, the question is whether they will finish strong.

How do you feel President Cerb has served the American people during his term of office?

Cerb has been great, he has continued on Blank's strong leadership and has kept a very active cabinet and successful cabinet, which is very important to a good term.

Who is your favorite eUS President of all-time, and why?

Oh I'm relatively new here so I'm not going to be able to talk about the old greats, but in my time here, I'd have to say Blank has been my favorite, he turned around a very stagnant US, and Cerb is doing a great job too. There have been some other good presidencies as well but these two stick out for me.

I'm thrilled to see him running for this office, and hopefully I'll be able to see other candidates that are running for this office. I've had alot of headaches which have caused me to want to stay in my bed in the prone position, but I crawled to my basement for you guys so this interview would be available. Thanks to Paul for taking the time and instantly getting back to me, and so far my time in Congress has been mostly spent on the forums getting to know the issues and what the Hell I'm doing/talking about.
