Hello! Welcome to The Illuminator. In this newspaper you probably won't be illuminated; in fact, you probably won't care at all about whatever I happen to be talking about. No matter. I'm a new player of eRepublik, I've only been playing for 2 months. Does this mean I lack desired knowledge for article writing and eRepublik in general? Probably. Will that stop me? No, thanks to the Freedom of Speech and the Right to be Stupid!

Me

Well, as I mentioned previously, I am new to eRepublik. I came into eSwitzerland a bit more than two months ago to find it completely conquered by Slovenia and Macedonia. The first few weeks of my existence in which we had no regions were rough. Besides my citizenship, I wasn't really connected to eSwitzerland in any way as there were barely any Swiss newspapers I could follow, and I didn't know many players to get guidance from as I couldn't find the forums or IRC. But after we finally got back Romandie (hooray!) things for me turned for the better. I started to learn about the political system, media system and of the forums. Now I think I have finally settled in to this game and so I'm ready to start a newspaper.

Future

Now that you know my eRepublik life story, maybe I can start writing soon. I hope to eventually write regularly, but now I might not will not. I guarantee people you'l like my writing. I'll even make a bet with you. If this gets in the Switzerland top 10 articles after 5 minutes, you have to give me 1000 gold.
