Overmorgen gaat eNederland weer naar de stembus om een nieuw Congres te kiezen. Namens Democratisch Nederland ben ik deze maand verkiesbaar in Oostelijk Nederland.

Natuurlijk sta ik vierkant achter het DemNL-programma. Ons programma heeft opnieuw een hoop goede punten, die allemaal uitgevoerd kunnen worden als DemNL genoeg zetels haalt. Dat is dan ook mijn belangrijkste reden om me verkiesbaar te stellen.

Verder zal in de komende periode het nieuwe Wetboek, geschreven door de CRAP-commissie, aan bod komen. Als hoofd van die commissie hoop ik natuurlijk als Congreslid deel te kunnen nemen aan de debatten hierover. Aan ze zijlijn moeten staan terwijl het Congres hier aan werkt is niet iets waar ik naar uitkijk.

Daarom, medeburgers, vraag ik jullie om opnieuw op mij te stemmen.
Vier keer eerder heb ik jullie vertrouwen gekregen, en een vijfde termijn is iets wat ik alleen kan bereiken met jullie steun. Stem DemNL, stem Hindrik op 25 augustus!

In two days, the eNetherland will go to the polls once more. On behalf of Democratisch Nederland, I will stand for election in Eastern Netherlands this month.

Of course, I thoroughly support the DemNL program. Our program once again contains many good points, which can all be addressed if DemNL gets enough seats. For me, this is the main reason to run.

In addition, the new Lawbook, written by the CRAP committee, will be discussed this term. As head of the committee, I hope to be able to participate in those debates as a Member of Congress. Standing on the sideline while Congress is working on the proposals is not something I look forward too.

Therefore, fellow citizens, I ask you to vote for me again. You have given me your trust four times already, and I can only hope to get a fifth term with your support. Vote DemNL, vote Hindrik on August 25th!
