Yes,..you guessed it,..I am seeking some "wise" council. It would seem that the combination of the sale on gold and what would seem to be a bit of a patriotic streak,.have as it were,.combined to produce what ever it was that was needed to break down the barriers of cheapness and pride and as a result I have,.yes I,..have purchased gold !
Now the question remains,.can some of you please help outline how a couple hundred gold would best be spent,.being that my main goal is to be able to aid and assist fellow eCanadians as we continue to rid our great country of these pesky foes !? TANKS ! Yes,..or the other possibility is instead of upgrading just one factory to tanks,.upgrading two factories to the mid range weapons,.you know,.those gun tanky things,.can't find their name anywhere,...

Q5 all the way
Q5s of anything take up less storage space. This will allow you to maximize your generosity.
i advise q5s, its all about maximum damage, however Q3.. the word youre looking for is Infantry i think : P is good to develop younger players.
for example 10 q3 > 2 q5s
"10 q3 > 2 q5s"
While that is true there are some things to take into account. Firstly, you can only make so many weapons a day. If the choice is between 1 Q5 or 2 Q3 companies, Q5 is still the way to go.
Using my stats as an example I shall explain.
Influence Per Hit: [Q3: 571][Q5: 714]
1 Q5 makes 14 (with full bonuses)
14 Q5 = 70 fights
70 fights * 714 = 49980 influence
2 Q3 make 28 (with full bonuses)
28 Q3 = 84 fights
84 fights * 571 = 47964 influence.
Therefore 1 Q5 Weapons company is the way to go. Now, if the sole purpose is the give away the weapons to the highest amount of people, then, yes, Q3 would be better. But unless you have reach full self-supply, giving away the weapons you create isn't ideal. The other option would be to find five people to slave pit for you and give them the 14 Q5 weapons that they produce resulting in 70 weapons given away while still having weapons for yourself.

I think that as long as there are massive wars going on around the world, Q5's are the best choice. Unfortunately, I think it takes somewhere around 370 gold or so to upgrade a company from Q1-Q5.
And then you have to supply it with resources.
Yes, I believe 370 is correct. You can purchase them for 342 on the Companies for Sale market.
First of all, make sure that you can self-supply with food/health to the maximum you can use in a 24-hour period. Then you can start looking at weapons.
The reason for this being that you can always fight bare-handed if you have the health, but hundreds of tanks will be useless if you can't use them.
I'm good for 100 health re-gain per hour, so I can make well over 2400 health per day. Any unused surplus I sell to eventually upgrade my weapons.
Another important point is to always have some Q1 or Q2 weapons on hand. If you only need a few damage points to finish off an opponent, there is no use wasting a tank hit. Switch weapons as needed during a fight. I produce 56 various grade weapons per day plus 6 tanks from my MU.
