California--Two winners plus two Wildcard winners
//Leroy Combs~~173~~//Cerb~~111
//Gnilraps~~101~~//ankaragucumegidiyor~~82
The Capitol region of California produced very little excitement. Always the home of the two-clicker-vote, the only drama was to see which party would take the second "Wildcard" spot and which party would get left out.
NOTE: The Wildcard rule of 2 was in effect yesterday, as 19 regions were to be contested with the top 2 winners going to congress. That left 38, so eRepbulik also then includes 2 "wildcard" winners to round out congress at 40 seats. For more information LOOK HERE.
Arizona
//deershark~~18~~//Eli Crownover~~11
Arizona was contested all day with leads changing between the two eventual winners (both USWP) and Snorunt30 of AMP all day. In the end AMP did not have enough mobile or sniper votes to push their candidate (who would have lost the tiebreaker) into the top 2.
Colorado
//Animis~~25~~//Jamarcus~~25
Colorado was closely watched all day, as notorious anti-eUSA troublemaker Pizza the Hut snuck in on the Libertarian Party ticket due to a last-minute Blocker problem. Of course Hut lost. Kudos to Federalist PP Soren Nelson whose Political Team started the bold run to push both the LIB and USWP candidates past the Hut.
The irony of Hut's foolishness is that he wasted 20 votes that could have been used more wisely. Hut has made his hatred of INCI his national agenda. INCI must be laughing in his face this morning as their candidates clearly had a much smoother run into congress thanks to the dozens of votes wasted on Hut.
Idaho
//Bia Pandora~~18~~//pearlowl~~15
Idaho was securely in the hands of AMP and INCI all day. The Federalist candidate Jufedkg Borman learned of a tragic death in his family early on election day which clearly impacted his campaign. 16 Shells offers condolences to Jufedkg Borman and his RL family.
Illinois
//Alexander_Auctoritas~~14~~//Oblige~~14
There was never any doubt about the USWP candidate AA having plenty of support, but the second seat in Illinois was going to provide a little bit of drama. In the end, a push from the Federalists was enough to overtake AMP's Cleveland Fleman who was in contention most of the day.
Iowa
//Roo Rocket~~18~~//Bobady zoo~~14
BREAKING UPDATE: INCI candidate vaniliacix fell victim to the voter-fraud investigation by Admin and had 1 vote removed putting Bobady zoo in for AMP.
Michigan
//Lysander Spooner II~~15~~//Heero Blaze~~14
Michigan provided several lead changes throughout the day. An early lead by USWP Arpad.Palinkas could not be sustained as the Feds eagerly supported Heero Blaze. SFP votes poured in for Lysander Spooner II who was given a slot by AMP.
Minnesota
//Robert E. Lee~~15~~//Mikehen~~14
Minnesota provided a surprise, as early leader and assumed favorite John Largo's campaign seemed to stall mid-day. It was a late-night push by USWP that put their candidate several votes ahead of Largo and into congress.
Montana
//Guillaume Magro~~11~~//Zach Goldsmith~~9
Montana also provided some late night shuffling. AMP's Heather Fuchs hung around all day chasing the lead along with Libertarian Ecalogik. Ultimately, neither received enough votes and the state went to AMP/USWP due to a late-night run by Zach Goldsmith.
Nebraska
//TitreyenBaykus~~21~~//AmyHat~~16
Nebraska has held a strong INCI population for several months so it was no surprise to see their two candidates in the mix all day. AMP made a strong play with AmyHat that
Nevada
//playa566~~27~~//Kemal Ergenekon~~19
The race in Nevada did not change all day (giving this BBCoder a break!) AMP and INCI won handily. Notably, Kemal Ergenekon is widely respected in eRepublik for his economics wisdom and is a very welcome addition to this Congressional class.
New Mexico
//Pierce Vaughn~~24~~//Pdeb~~15
USWP candidate soil3d was a contender for much of the day but could not keep pace with the Federalist Pdeb. Nothing much else happened in New Mexico.
Oregon
//Citizenturk~~12~~//LexLuthor1~~9
Oregon became interesting as two USWP candidates battled for the second spot. In the end Vanek26 could not keep pace and lost by a pair. LexLuthor1 will not be expected to fix everything.
🙂
South Dakota
//Jason the Great~~17~~//Thedillpickl~~17
South Dakota was one of the more interesting races of the day. SFP's Civil Anarchy, who borrowed a slot from the Federalists, appeared to be running early but stalled. He would finish fourth. Early leader seeinvoices of AMP would also finish out of the winners circle being passed by a very strong run by Jason the Great. Thedillpickl had a steady trickle of votes all day long and seemed assured of a seat. Mark up one for the UIP.
Utah
//chickensguys~~16~~//Deificus~~11
Utah got interesting late in the day when USWP Deificus passed AMP's code0011 and Israel Stevens. AMP seemed not to respond and appeared to concede the state early.
Washington
//Returnswolf~~25~~//SGTRock~~19
Washington was sleepy all day with INCI maintaining a huge lead and nobody challenging USWP for second. But a late play by AMP fell one vote short as Jack mensley lost a tiebreaker.
Wisconsin
//Morrigan Alexandros~~16~~//MRPT~~13
BREAKING NEWS: INCI seemed to win the second seat in Wisconsin, passing USWP at the bell. However after the 6 hour investigation period wherein the Admin examine the vote tallies and subtract suspicious votes, INCI's 2fast4u TR had his vote total reduced and he finished third.
Wyoming
//Hadrian X~~11~~//Flying Trotsky~~11
BREAKING NEWS: Another victim of voter integrity issues, Stephen Goldsmith, who was firmly in the top 2 all day had several votes removed from his tally placing Flying Trotsky into Congress, a coup for SFP with their second seat!

@Pizza - All your base are belong to us.
Very good article.
Did I miss Haliman's picture? He won as well.
@Israel you are right. I am trying to track that down now. It seems that 6 Wildcards got in instead of 2.
My guess, and I will try to confirm or correct this, is that between the 23'rd and the 25th, two new states were added to our total meaning we qualified for a total of 44 congressmen. Because those new states were added after the cutoff for signing up to run for congress, eRep uses wildcards.
this is a total guess.
thanks for alerting me and I am on it.
What I and several others are wondering is how many fake voters got used this round of elections and by which owners.
Nice article, voted.
Wow, epic job gnilraps
One of the best election results articles I've ever seen. Really well done.
And here's a thought any cheaters who *didn't* get caught to ponder...
"Justice is a temporary thing that must at last come to an end; but the conscience is eternal and will never die."
