Day 31 - Cyprus Fights Back; America Continues to Win!
Israel Stevens
North America
Yesterday, there were Resistance wars in two American regions. The first was in Wyoming, and this was a win for the United States. The addition of Wyoming as a free state, means that the midwestern states now have a trade route to the capital of California. Although, strange as it may be, this provides no bonus to the American Economy, because the nation already has all of the resources that those new mid west states provide.
The other Resistance war in the United States was in Arizona, and this was a loss for America. This continues Hungary’s dominance over America, and maintains a border with California.
Currently, there are three resistance wars raging in America. First is in Pennsylvania, against the Polish occupiers, which the United States is losing 3-0. There is also one in North Carolina, against Hungary, and America is winning 1-0 in this freshly opened battle. And lastly, there is war in Illinois, against Spain, which the United States is winning 3-0.
So far, things look promising. And if Illinois could be returned to the United States, it would give the nation their first Weapon Raw Material in roughly a month, and would be a much welcome boost the the country’s flagging economy.
Trio of Resistance Wars in America
In Canada, there is good news, as the northern nation has returned to the map, securing a victory in a resistance war against the United Kingdom in New Brunswick. The Canadians wasted no time in starting a Resistance War in Quebec, and should secure the region within 90 minutes, as they currently hold a 7-0 lead over the UK.
South America
Not a whole lot going on down here, there are two resistance wars currently going. One in Rio Grande do Sul, which is tied at 1-1 currently. The other is in Mesopatamia between Argentina and Spain, and the Spanish have an early lead of 1-0.
Probably the most interesting thing in this area, isn’t technically in the area. That would be South Africa and Indonesia’s current war. South Africa lost another region yesterday, and there is no active battle currently. Of note here, is that Brazil and Indonesia have been allied in the past, were almost able to get Indonesia to join PANAM (TERRA). Although that was a long time ago, it will be interesting to see if Indonesia moves into South America. It should be noted however, that the days of Indonesian power are behind us, and they now serve as a vassal state for Serbia, Hungary, Poland and Spain.
Europe
The battles in Europe consist mostly of Resistance wars, which are acting as damage drains against ONE. There are some of interest, like those between Romania and Serbia, however, even those seem to be of little consequence.
Europe... and the plethora of battles there
Middle East
In a first for this paper, the Middle East will be featured as a region. The reason, is that the war between Cyprus and the Former Yugolavian Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) has heated up substantially. This is because Cyrpus has decided that they are not going to be pushed around by the Macedonians, and have started to fight back. This is mostly because iNCi has moved to Cyprus, and is declaring their independence from FYROM.
Middle East Region
That being said, Cyprus is still getting pounded by the Macedonians, and the Middle East is bogged down in warfare. The region is a mess, with Egypt and Saudi Arabia getting involved via Resistance, and Conventional war against both of the European invaders.
Looks just like Real Life...
Asia
China is down to two regions, and there are no active battles against the nation currently. There are two Resistance wars in the area. China is winning against Hungary, 2-0. But are unfortunately getting steam rolled by Serbia. The Chinese will likely focus on the Resistance War against Hungary, and try and build a sizable lead before the Hungarians wake up to fight.
It is possible that we could see a wipe of China tomorrow, as their last two regions share borders with both Serbia and Poland. We shall see.
Overall Analysis
America is gaining steam against ONE. Although, these advances may be mitigated once China is wiped, and ONE turns their attention back to North America.
That is the most interesting thing currently. What happens in the world once China is wiped out? Where will ONE turn? Back to North America? South America? Africa? All are minor targets now. Time will tell if ONE can stay together without a constant goal in mind.
These next few days should be quiet eventful.

Nice to see that you read the comment, or at least you got the message from someone else, regarding BIA, which makes it a bit more complicated. That will be nice to see, : P
Also, well, Italy finally got back to the map, Finland is getting erased for the nth time by Estonia, Mexico and Portugal continue warring on Iberia, the same goes for Turkey and Bulgaria with constant changes, and I think that overcomes everything else that you didn't mention on the european scenario. It's not just RWs and Romania - Serbia, 😒cafe:
And in South America, there was a previous RW on Mesopotamia that ended 8-7 (it was close...), and well, Spain conquered Argentina Northwest. Also, Paraguay launched a NE proposal to Argentina, no idea why.
Regarding your final questions: no idea, but they might end up attacking each other again, since there is nothing else to do...
Nice reading.
Lots of cool beans with plenty of awesome sauce.
