Great article.

Thx
Very nice and helpful although you may have wanted to trim some of those out. Most users would never need /QUOTE or /RAW and Mibbit and other web-based users cannot use /DCC at all. In fact, many people would be unable to use DCC unless they properly configured their computers for it. Unfortunately, most eRepublik players on IRC would not make use of Fserves either and I personally believe that commands like /amsg and /ame should be told on an individual basis because, quite frankly, mass messaging channels is annoying.
Or maybe I'm just on 52 channels, many of which aren't eRepublik-related.
Overall, good article! I still think it could use some trimming and highlighting on more important commands. Also, perhaps make it a little less obvious that you just copy/pasted it (although, I don't blame you and would have done the same thing).
Finally, maybe even link people to RFC1459 which provides much more information about the IRC chat protocol!
